Two towers face off, a tale as old as time. One will be the victor, the other will be victoria, because she's a girl.

Eagle Six is a large symmetrical map for big team games. Team Snipers is best. There are two main towers(no relation to LOTR or WTC) for red and blue teams. There are vehicles and a neutral banshee base.

    weapons:
    DMR: 5
    Rocket Launcher: 2
    Grenade Launcher: 1
    Shotgun: 2
    Sniper Rifle: 8

    vehicles:
    Warthog: 2
    Mongoose: 6
    Banshee: 2

    recommended gametypes:
    Team Snipers
    Multi Flag
    Territories
    Assault

hmmm, interesting concept. maybe a few more features on the map would help. A building here, a teleporter there, type of thing. also, im not really a fan of the banshees side by side in picture number 8. i can practically foresee a team easily getting both banshees

yeah, the banshees should be on opposite sides of the Island or at the bases. maybe on at the current spot and one on a platform connected to the bridge seen in the pics?

First off tell me that Eagle Six is a reference to LoneStar's Eagle Five in Spaceballs.

Secondly people who fabricate their own buildings are forgehub heroes. Putting building blocks & other items together to form a convincing structure is art in this game. I love what you've done with the building that you've got in picture one. Seeing the pre-fabricated buildings over and over again in other maps is now far too routine. This is one of the best ways to mix it up. The map itself is good, but the buildings are great. If you ever make another map, use your structural genius and create more custom buildings. They take more time to create but are worth it, you can't rush awesome.

-Kudos for growing some balls and making the map unique by not over-using prefabs

I usually find that my biggest problem in map creation is building too big. You're totally right of course, and that was a worry in the back of my head while I was building. Live and learn I guess.

Good point. I hadn't given the banshee position much thought but what you say makes sense. I think a revision is necessary.

First of all, that reference never came to mind when I was naming it, though now I wish it had. That winnebago was awesome. I ♥ Uranus.

Secondly, thanks. This is my third map and I wanted to do away with the building pieces. I found that it's a lot easier than it seems to build with the other pieces, and the structures look better in my opinion.

I think I might do a scaled down version of this and maybe tweak a few things based everyone's suggestions.

The make-up of this map is strikingly similar (in realization) to a map I'm working on. The structures look fantastic. I'm like you, I try as best as I can to not include buildings in my structures, as they seem to limit my imagination.

This looks great though, and with a little tweaking, I'd be absolutely in favor of this replacing Paradiso as that map drives me insane.

I was so hoping this was set up on Alaska and Montana as that would have been even more epic

I'm actually remaking this map around that area now. The hard part is cordoning off the part of the map you want to use so the rest of the map is inaccessable (physically and visually).

and to Stumanji, thanks for the compliments, and i'm glad to hear there are fewer people taking the easy way through forge. Building from scratch(without using the prefabricated buildings as buildings) is worth the effort. i'm going to check out your map man. thanks again.
