Pretty much I'm trying to finish an mlg map, and it looks fantastic so far but I went to make the bases and it said '0' for any block i tried to lay out.. Is there a way to get more somehow? I know in Halo 3 I was told there was a trick to get infinite objects or something of the sort.. I wasn't a Halo 3 forger tho so I do not know if that is fact or fiction. Thanks in advance for your help.

You'll have to get more efficient and creative in your object usage. If you're out of blocks, go back and replace blocks you already placed with something else that isn't a block.

The only way I think you could get more blocks would be to mod the map.

Yeah, I don't think anyone has found a way to glitch this yet that I know of. I'm sure they fixed the glitches that were exploited in Halo 3's forge. Try some walls, platforms, the large and flat parts of ramps, and the "large brace" under Decorative - all are useful block replacements when used in the right spot.

Even modding you can't...well at least you couldn't in Halo 3 so Idk why it would be different.

But yeah go back and replace your placed boxs with another object so you have more blocks to use.

In Halo 3, a glitch allowed circumvention of the budget, but all objects (even those modded in) were subject to the 640-item limit imposed by the game engine.

In Halo: Reach, there currently are no glitches that allow circumvention of the budget. The existence of a global item quantity limit has not yet been verified.

In short: you're screwed. Use alternate pieces wherever possible, and re-examine your existing structures to see what can be removed.

well, the details havent been verified, but it DOES exist.
ive run out of items before running out of budget on a map.
its possible to hit the limit if you have a large map near budget max,
and also lots of spawns and objective items.
im not sure the exact number of items that are on it though so i cant give a figure.

You've ran out of building blocks? Damn, it's the platforms I always run out of (and quick).

Yeah, this happens to me also. If you are trying to replicate a base that you made earlier it might be a good idea to go back and replace some walls with inclines and decorative, as you have 100 of each.

You definitely don't have to start from scratch. Just delete and replace what you've already got in places.

Search in the File browser in Halo Reach. I found this map that had 100 (limit 50) coliseum walls. No lies, I tagged it as "legit no lies". The maps name is Doubleglitch. I don't know if it is modded, but the map creator said it lagged and somehow spawned 100 walls.
