Bungie.net : Halo Reach : File Details I've been working for a week or so on this map, and recently submitted it to the TRC guild, so I figured I'd make a preview post for it. This map was inspired by Construct and Narrows, it didn't turn out like either once I started building it, but its like them in spirit, its long on one axis and shorter one of the other, though its symmetrical on both unlike Construct, it has 6 methods of getting to the top floor as of now, to prevent all the methods getting camped of course, I wanted an open and easyflowing map. Anyways no more words, just some juicy preview pictures Kind of a bird's eye view, but not quite, its the red half of the map and features the main elevator structure and the secondary lift, which is pretty hard to camp or control. Uninterrupted LoS on the bottom floor, there are some more pillars behind where the camera is though, as well as the pillars and several objects for cover in the middle. I didn't want too much DMR spam down here. PoV coming up the red main elevator. A view of some of the bottom yellow and the Overshield in the center bottom. Me annihilating someone camping the purple teleporter, each exit has a few plasma batteries to serve as an anti-camper measure.
This map looks pretty intense, and big as ****. Is it two levels or three levels? I wouldn't mind getting to test this one.
It does get some intense DMR battles, I'm pretty bad with the DMR though so when I played it with some friends I was getting owned >__> Anyways its semi-large and two levels, not three. I can't think of a map to compare it to size wise, but on its long axis I think its nearly 40 "units" long. I can't really say if you can test it or not, as far as I know the testing guild just does their thing :/ But if I do another testing myself I'll send you an invite.
About as long as narrows it looks like, but with two levels. I bet it plays some crazy BTB games. Not too small for it but not quite big enough either. Only thing about the testers guild is it's about being on and making yourself readily available to the usual testers (; which I've yet to really do.
