Envy is currently set up for all stock variants of Slayer, Stockpile, Headhunter, King of the Hill and Territories.
It is intended to be a mix between a Casual and Competitive map, where the gameplay is focused on more enjoyable factors rather than map control and domination.

I'll hopefully be releasing it soon depending on how well each gametype works. I've so far tested Stockpile, Headhunter and King of the Hill and each of the games were fun to play.[/floatleft]

Had great fun testing this map earlier, Steve. I didn't noticed any framerate lag, which I would have expected from such a level of detail coupled with lights. The aesthetics were superb in the central areas, and I coudln't believe how well they all fitted together.

Gameplay also felt pretty much spot on for Stockpile and Headhunter, although there was a large amount of action in the central tier for Headhunter. Perhaps some destinations in the back coridoors? Can't remember running into one of them. I wish I'd have had time to test a gametype like KOTH, because I'd love to see a massive control effort on the top tier or in the stockpile locations.

I'm going to keep watching this, because I'm sure that everything you do to Envy from now on will only make it better.

Thanks dude, that's some awesome feedback :D
I felt stockpile was a little slow to start, but KOTH is by far my favourite gametype on this map so far... I'll be testing the maps limits eventually by seeing how many people it can support. I'd imagine 8 would be the absolute maximum considering the maps size.

I'm also pleased that you noticed the framerate issue wasn't on this map (Y).. I hate that in other maps and every time I started to get framerate issues, I had to scrap what I was doing and start over :(

I'll put updates in here of when it will be released and hopefully I won't have to amend anything after the release. Thanks.

If I might say I'm "Green with envy"
Bad puns and idioms aside, the aesthetics certainly fit the title. I like it.

Is green by any chance your favourite colur? Regen...rise...envy... I see a theme emerging. :p

It looks nice and the coloring really spices it up and makes it stand out from the dreary grey of a lot of other maps on forgehub. Not sure what else to say bedsides if we are ever on at the same time we gotta get a game together.

Also I can read minds... do you want me to make a video preview or final video for it? Ill be glad to do so. :D

Lol, was gonna put that in my release thread for it.. ;)

Haha yeah, green is my most liked colour <3

No worries, it still needs gametype testing and minor structural tweaks. I'm trying to keep any improvements to an absolute minimum so framerate lag doesnt occur, but obviously if testing requires change, I guess I'll have to go with it (even though I have no walls, blocks or platforms left!)

Lol yeah, you could matey once I'm happy with the map ;)
