YouTube - Bungie/Halo Tribute Montage (copied from YouTube description) "An era of gaming, in one word: Bungie" MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS! This is my tribute video to both Bungie and their Halo games. This is a project I've been working off and on with since before Halo: Reach even came out. I've spent a lot of time capturing all the clips and editing them all down. I hope you can enjoy and appreciate this video honoring Bungie and the last 10 years. See you starside... (/youtube description) So, this is a project I've been working on for the past couple months (in actual work time, it's taken about a week). I've gone through maybe 40 hours total in footage from all the Halo games (and I couldn't even go through all of Halo 2 since my disc is kinda messed up). Anyway, it's basically a giant montage of clips from all the Halo games and it's a tribute of sorts to Halo and Bungie. So, yep. Hope you enjoy!
BUNGIE: The Best Gaming Company. Always listened to their community. I can't believe their gone from Halo. It makes me want to cry. Just to think; I was 7 When I played Halo:CE, I was 12 When I played Halo 2, I was 13 when Halo 3 Launched, 14 When Halo 3:ODST Launched and now 15 When Halo:Reach became Best Game of The Year. Kinda funny how all the Halo games launched near my B-Day. Luck I guess. Thanks Bungie for all the years and all the years to come. Cheers!
Great compilation/tribute! Bungie deserves it for all the work they've put into the series. However, I have just one problem: I wish you would have made more of a distinction between the games... Like the transition between H2 and H3 was kinda iffy. But otherwise, nice footage. Thanx for putting it together!
Yea, I can understand that transition... My main problem was trying to have a unique way to transition the games into each other and not being able to play all the way through Halo 2 (because my disc is all funky and doesn't load a bunch of stuff) made that difficult. So I just went with that. Ending Halo 1 with the ring made sense, since that was the story there, Halo 2, I just had to splice the Arbiter line into that footage from Halo 3 of him so there was some sort of "connection" in the transition. The transition from Halo 3 into ODST is what I wanted to be able to do with all of the others, I really loved how that turned out. Anyway, thanks for the feedback! And glad you enjoyed it!
Simply amazing. Bungie made Halo games will be missed by me. I loved this montage/tribute. Very nice video. Thanks to you and Bungie.
