Unyielding Stronghold is an ivasion map based entirely around this hidden fortress under the rock. The elites have finally located the base, and are planning an attack to retrieve the data core. From this overview you can see the initial spawns and the entrance into the stronghold. It may not look like much, but it is very complex inside, but more on that later. The elites spawn here on the right side of the picture. They have access to the bridge and towers to aid them to capture the two territories. (You cannot see the territories or the one-way doors because the picture was taken after phase three.)

The gravlift tower I created from scratch, that shoots you up to the bridge, and the needle rifles above.

Once a territory has been captured, the fight moves into the base. The elites may check back to the towers to find themselves some goodies, after a short period of time. (or spartans, if they are quick enough.) The two territories inside are two levels apart, and may take some time to travel from one to the next, so when the elites have control of one, make sure to regroup fast, or they may capture it.

The lower territory, located on the bottom floor.

This image features the second floor, also known as the central chamber, and in the top left, the second territory. Located on the right is a tower that eventually leads to the top floor, and the core.

They must then bring it all the way back to the start for it to be evacuated.

Here is just one action shot,

Hope you enjoy the map, any feedback or comment is welcome.

Interesting, I have never seen someone build such a small invasion map. At first I was skeptical, but it could work. Overall this map doesn't interest me much, but the concept is something I will have to look into. Sorry I cant DL, Xbox + internet = kaput.
