Balls Deep Act1: Island

    Ok so let me start off by saying this is an original map but I was inspired by Rifte to make my own level. The gametype is practically the same as his with minor changes (MAKE SURE YOU DL MY VERSION FOR THIS CAMPAIGN THE CHANGES ARE MINOR BUT STILL IS NEEDED TO PLAY CORRECTLY) if you want to know about how it works look at his thread here

    Now onto the map

    Riftes maps were all metallic and so I wanted to make a more natural one. It takes place on the island and you will have 2 holdout zones and then you escape on the falcon. It may need some tweaking so please tell me if the timing or anything is bad. This is my first attempt.

    It starts off here in cave:

    The survivors exit the cave to a wide open world here:

    They can go to this camp to get weapons:

    You keep pushing forward up to the bridge holdout zone heres what the bridge itself looks like after you wait for the gate to open:

    You push forward to the cave inside the mountain theres a holdout zone there but this one is a lot shorter after you exit the cave you'll end up in this zone:

    You follow the path to get to the Falcon landing pads:

    You escape in them and[​IMG]
    GET TO DA CHOPPA!!!

    And heres what happens when the tank gets to hit the chopper

    If people suggest I make more I will finish this campaign but for now it will only be this level
    Notice: The map has been updated and improved so the screenshots aren't exactly all the same as the new version I redid some teleporters and the final area is easier to navigate.

    It looks nice and i will give it a play, my only criticism is that if you say you want it to be like riftes it never will be as good. Trying to be like someone can be a good thing but try to add your own twist on things, use his ideas but make them your own. But the map looks good so don't take this comment to badly.

    I already know that and I did add my own twist it takes place on the island so its more natural and you escape via falcons.
    also the version you dl'd has been improved with better portal placement and the last area is easier to navigate. Trying to add them to my fileshare but its not updating
