Needs less invisible trees and more visible ones. 2/5 Nah, but really. I don't mind this here feature. Though, playing it with people that are bad at the art of cawk blawkin'... makes it pretty slow. :\
Wow, that's actually really creative. I can't wait to get a game on it. One question: How many players do you suggest for optimal gameplay?
Things like this, make me not want to go in the map forums at all. Because barely any one downloads the map and plays on it before they comment it. You would know these are custom power ups and not lights if you had played on it first. As for the feature. This pretty much reinstated me to stay here longer. This is the only mini game that I love, the only one I don't get bored of, the only one that's fun, not repetitive, or annoying. I should of collaborated this you(camo) when you originally asked me to. Yet, I had no idea how you would even do it. But you pulled it off like no other after a couple tries of making the map lol. Still even after all the changes this map is beautiful and the game play is boss. I love you camo and cawk blawkin, thanks for making me love Halo Reach even more. <3
I had endless fun playing this with Camo and the other group of people. This is the most unique minigame I've seen, ever. It took me a round to realize what to do, but if you explain it to people in the party, they'll understand. Congrats on the feature, this really deserves it.
This can be a little frustrating if you have a party that doesn't know how to play it, but people usually pick it up after the first round or two. After that, it's sheer awesomeness, and as I think I've told you before, this map absolutely oozes creativity and originality. Great work, Camo.
Although I havn't played it yet (Live ran out last month)... What people are saying about it have you signed up for my DL whenever I decide I should get back on. Great looking map, and the gameplay sounds incredible. BTW, did you make up that story or is that really how you came up with the idea? Either way it does a great job of summing up the gameplay and getting people interested in the article. When I started reading on the main page, I couldn't help but click on "Read More..." to see wtf this had to do with the mini-game (although the title of the thread/gametype sorta gave it away). Anyways... great job. The best I can do as far as a map is making a sniper map out of the area of the canyon, Alaska, and Montana (or at least I think it's Montana). All I did was put up a well designed barrier, a few Mongooses/Mongeese (lol) and some teleporters up to the high areas. I'm also playing with the gametype to encourage people to headshot. Not sure how I will do that though......... congrats man! (Rammstein: The music i'm listening to when I pwn u!)
The zombie can jump over the barriers right? Are the humans really fast? Because otherwise it seems like the humans have no chance.
Wonka, I've been testing this for weeks, the Runners have Evade, Sprint, and Hologram. It's super even, I worked out the bugs and it plays wonderfully. Download it and test it out.
I doubt it will be the last... I'm stil struggling to come up with anything to make... the expanse of Forge World is... daunting! Damn, I can never think of anything to build! It looks great though Camo, seems simple to explain and play... I'll download Could it be the next Cat n Mouse...? What? I didn't say anything... >.> Guess I'll go make a ramp or something, and be jealous of your simple yet ingenious map :/
Judging by how some people were describing this, I thought it was going to be complicated or overly difficult to figure out. Turns out, after about a minute you get a pretty good idea of what you're supposed to do. Although, developing a strategy could take awhile. This is a great mini-game that should appeal to a great number of people, once they get the general idea of course. Congrats on the feature.
I played a game on this the other day and well, its not really my thing. I can see that you have put a lot of time and effort into planning and creating this awesome map. I don't doubt that for one second. I understand the gameplay and how works but when I actually played it I found myself slightly bored and waiting for the game to end.
Yeah, I guess this game is more of a social minigame, to play with your close Live friends and actually have to think a bit while playing. I mean don't get me wrong I love playing games that everyone that's in the party is deadbeat quiet. I tried making a game that would almost require you to talk and use a plentiful amount of teamwork.. I'm sure I've accomplished that.
