    I have been designing this map for 2 days (have put in a total of 6 hours each day), and was wondering if you have any ideas for aesthetics and CnC.
    ------------
    As of now, the general layout is just finished. I am thinking of where a Sniper tower for each base could be done/built on.

    Things that need to be completed are:

    Aesthetics
    Weapon Placement
    Gametype Placements (for CTF/ TS)
    Enclosure (so its not just a floating map)

    I like how you made elevation change and plenty of ramps and stuff. People usually don't take the time to do that and leave everything as one flat surface (a downside of the coordinate system).

    Thanks Pyro! :) I actually used the coordinate system quite a bit for the angles for ramps and etc.

    Holy crap, this looks beautiful as it is! Cover is needed, obviously, but how you make it I do not know. If I get any ideas Ill get back to you.

    Yes, I agree, much more cover is needed. Also, why add add in some nice aethetic features? I'm not sure what, but the map, right now, looks a little bland.

    But, sort the cover issue out and I think we really have a map here : D

    Thanks Cjay. Like the title says it is still in construction. I am just trying to gather CnC on here for my first serious map in across halo 3 and halo reach, or ever for that matter. I am trying to figure out where covers could go. As you guys have said, you see a good map in my map, and the last thing I would want to do is take that away by placing bad spots for cover.

    Nice. The bridge idea reminded me of Narrows in Halo 3. For a start on the map, it was meh... ok. Don't let your hopes down though, the idea is good, but the only thing is cover and detail.

    in your case, the pentameter is not fully complete so you can still have a chance of the equalibrium stabilizing and the iambic towers perfected. Otherwise the maps great.

    There is a post on the elements of a map. I'll link it for you so you can read it and get a good understanding of weapon placement and cover and such.

    Map Terminology

    This post may be just terminology, but it taught me a lot about flow of maps. And if you can, even try to get into some map testing and see for yourself how things work out when really getting played

    Oh yeah, and UltimateSlayer5 is a total douche for saying whatever the **** it is he said. xD

    Looks like a really good map base. It looks pretty big too, so my first question is are you planning on it supporting vehicles?

    Second, this might help you solve your 'what next?' issue. I'm sure you've probably seen it already but whatever:

    You said you have 36 blocks left, that's a decent amount to build some rough structures somewhere, my opinion though, to make it look more like a map and not a large racetrack, put some pre-fab buildings in it. (Example: sink a 3 story tower into those 4x4 tall blocks you have in the back of each side.)

    Second opinion, add some aesthetics, it looks great already but give it some flair/bling. Antennas and anything glass make for wonderful art pieces when combined with other things. The Decoration category is exactly what it says it is.

    Third opinion, why enclose it? If you want aesthetics, let Forgeworld beautify itself. You have this floating map with a great panorama and like that article I posted said, it's great for orientation.

    That's my opinion, hope it helps.

    @TantricEcho - To answer your first question, no vehicle support, it is meant for 4v4 TS/CTF. Now that I think about it, you're right. I'll leave it open floating.
