Map Name: Crater 1.4 Download Link: Soz3r Fileshare Map Summary: Crater is a reimagination of The Pit from Halo 3; I would say its different enough to not be called a remake and is simular enough for the callout areas to still work well. Gameplay elements such as the choke points, common flag contesting, and even spawning are very simular to the style gameplay The Pit would provide. One major aspect of Crater that really sets it apart from The Pit is the fact that there is no runway. The runway hall has logically been moved to below green hall. Under green hall has been coined "channel" as a callout. Soz3r and I have spent many hours working on this map, but even with overhaul hours in building and fixing I can say that i've played on the map more than i've forged on it. so far everyone who has played it with us loved it and recommended it to their friends. This looks pretty good. I like the fact that you haven't directly tried to remake the pit but rather used some ideas of it to create this awesome looking map. Only thing I would suggest is adding a bit of colour or other aesthetics somehow to the map. It just seems a bit dull, but I guess you can blame that on the forge pallet. I can't really say much else. If im online send me an invite to your game and I will help test/play on it.
