UNSC BERLIN(Frigate)

Well, here is my first post on Forge Hub for an Aesthetic map. I hope you guys like it. It is a UNSC Frigate with a backstory. I made this when I was bored and I am obsessed with Frigates so Enjoy.

BEFORE YOU READ THE BACKSTORY:
THE BACKSTORY IS LONG SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ IT THEN YOU DON'T HAVE TO.
The UNSC Berlin was equipped with:
5 Standard HEV DROP PODS
A weapon loadout
10 PELICANS(All were used on Reach.)
6 Falcons
A vehicle loadout(shortened due to battle of Reach.)
1 MAC GUN
The ship also has an infirmary, hangar, bridge, AI, MAC GUN, HEV Drop Pods, and a falcon bay.

The year is 2552. Humanity is at war with an Alien Alliance who call themselves "The Covenant." Little is known about the alliance. When The Covenant first attacked Planet Harvest, a peaceful solution and a truce was attempted, but they did not comply. After destroying one of the UNSC's small fleets at Harvest, The Covenant shot plasma rounds onto Harvest until the planet turned to glass.

In the closing of July, a Spartan Deployment was sent to investigate a downed relay outpost outside of Visegrad on Reach. What was thought to be a simple mission to neutralize rebels and get the station back online turned into a living nightmare. The Spartan Deployment, "Noble Team," found no rebels, but Covenant forces on Reach. After making contact with Colonel Holland, Winter Contingency was declared.

The Covenant quickly infiltrated the orbital defenses and soon an invading army landed on the planet. The fleet that the UNSC had wasn't merely enough to hold off the strike force. They needed help and they needed it FAST.

August, 2552.
MESSAGE: REACH UNDER ATTACK
FROM: COLONEL URBAN HOLLAND
TO: FLEET ADMIRAL TERRANCE HOOD
Admiral,
In late July, the Spartan group known as "Noble Team" was sent to investigate a downed relay hub outside of Visegrad, Reach. Command thought it only to be a rebel sabotage. There were no rebels. It was a covenant strike force. Now, only weeks later, they have brought the largest fleet we've ever witnessed. They outnumber our ships 3 to 1. We need back up ships at Reach and WE NEED THEM FAST!

Admiral Hood sighed. He knew it was only a matter of time before The Covenant found Reach. He knew one other thing too: If Reach fell, nothing would stand between the Covenant and Earth. After planning and decision making he sent the following ships:

-UNSC Eurikia, a Pheonix Class Colony Ship
-UNSC Georgia, a Marathon class cruiser
-UNSC Parks, A Halcyon Class Cruiser
-UNSC Arizona, a Halcyon Class Cruiser
-UNSC Nimitz, a Destroyer
-UNSC Savannah, a Frigate
-UNSC Aegis Fate, a frigate
-UNSC BERLIN, a Frigate.
-5 Sabers
-10 Longswords
-52 Pelicans

Admiral Hood called the Captains of all the ships into a meeting. He spoke with everyone and explained the situation. Everybody was ready for this.

After the meeting, Captain Johnathon Welk of The UNSC BERLIN walked up to Terrance Hood.

"Sir, The Berlin has seen better days. I don't think she'll survive. We need the help of every ship here if Reach falls, even a frigate."

Hood looked as if he were about to pass out, he had not had much sleep prior to the e-mail he got from Holland.

"Reach's fleet needs all the help they can. We've lost too many ships in this war. Welk, Reach has lost over sixty-three ships already."

Welk's jaw dropped. Before he could even ask it, Hood replied:
"Yes, it is that bad. If you have to die, take as many as you can down with you."

Welk walked out of the room and boarded the frigate. He talked to Vikki, the ship's AI. "Good morning, Captain Welk. How are you today."
Welk replied, "No time for words, Vikki. Reach is under attack and we need to get there ASAP."

Without a word, Vikki disconnected the ship from the Docking station and entered Slipspace immediately.

From what seemed centuries later, Captain Welk awoke from Cryo sleep. "Entering Reach orbit in approximately two and a half hours, Captain. Better get ready, it's going to be a BUSY day.

TWO HOURS LATER

From what Welk saw in the windows of the bridge, it wasn't pretty. Covenant ships everywhere, Reach being glassed, and all they could do was fight for what's left.

The frigate entered low orbit and sent down Pelicans and HEV pods to help fight the Covenant armada.

THREE HOURS LATER
"Sir," said Sergeant Smith, "UNSC Savannah has been destroyed by a Covenant Corvette Class ship."

TWENTY MINUTES LATER

Everyone looked out at the windows, what was that flash of purple off in the distance?
"This is Colonel Holland. The Covenant Supercarrier "Long Night of Solace has been destroyed!"

Cheers and "Hoorahs" went out through the bridge but were stopped. At least Four more Supercarriers arrived to attack it was over. Reach as done for.


DAYS LATER
"It's time to leave. Reach is gone," said Vikki.
It was true. The whole planet. A barren wasteland.
"I'm picking up a distress call from The Pillar of Autumn." said Vikki.
"Follow it." Welk ordered.

When The Berlin arrived, all they saw was a debris field. The ship was lost. All crew were presumed MIA.

Yes, I know the story is a bit long, lol. I got a bit carried away. The pictures are something I will have to figure out. I tried expanding them in the editing section of my post. I did expand them but it went back to the original size. So, let me figure out how to fix this. Give me some time, though.

 

Yes, I named it Berlin because other Frigates were named after cities. I am planning to make a V2 which will include:
Updated drop pods
Improved MAC Cannons
Improved wings(I plan to make them a bit more thick and I will also add jets to them.)
I'll add detail to the back(Complete)
I might add a classification symbol.(Complete)

I also plan to remove some of the falcons and the infirmary will go to. Well, I'm going to get to work.

But, hey. If anyone has any ideas, I'll gladly take them.
