It's an island with a chess board on it not that hard to understand really. So after a while of wanting to play chess in reach because of a certain April Fools joke, I made a chess... in reach. To play just pick up the pieces and move them around appropriately OK a few notes on playing the map: First and most importantly it has to be played in forge mode, Secondly i recommend not to move the pieces up or down or rotate anything, And lastly the chess players have to be the colors green and purple. overview of the board (another note: The king is the brace and the queen is the antenna) overhead of the board this is the green side and this is the purple side and i do believe that is all, if you like it please hit the like button and I'll see you next time PS: this is my first post here so please go easy
Great concept for a map !! Thumbs up for that !! PS: if I wanted to be really picky then I'd say that the only flaw would be that your king and queen on purple side could do with swapping around I'm downloading because it'll be a completely different perspective of halo reach...

Pretty cool idea yeah I remember when they told us about Halo Chess... good times. Would be better if you could somehow make an actual working custom game type for it but it's still an original concept and looks good.

There was pretty much this exact game in Halo 3 but with a unpickupable board, but in reach with Colored blocks it will be easier to differentiate between teams.
this is awkward theirs an actual chess gametype made by bungie that they used for the joke its realy fun to play you can get it from my file share along with the map you can play it on that i made
