Hello forgehub, today I bring you my first Halo REACH map. But at first, I shall thank barc0de who has created the original map, an awesome spaceship from alien : http://www.forgehub.com/forum/reach-aesthetic-maps/106387-sulaco.html I have just made it playable by the addition of bases, vehicles, a background city and a big asteroid belt. So, what's is this map ? Just a big Asteroid field for space fights. I think screenshots will be more efficient to explain the point than me (despite they don't manage to give the feeling of movement linked with this gametype). The map is really HUGE, so you need a lot of players (work fine with 16). You can play any team Slayer gametype. I suggest this one but don't hesitate to put Rocket launcher or Spartan Laser as primary weapons. Interesting point is to set up player's damages to only 75% to avoid being too weak (which will result in a really quick life). One team spawn inside the battleship, the other in an underground base near the Asteroid Field. The city on the Island is just here for some aesthetic purposes or can be used to escape opponents. I can assure you this one is very funny to play if you have managed to find many players. You will have the impression to be in Star Wars : what could be nicer than purchassing an opponent's spaceship, destroying him and flying through the explosion ? Overviews : Action screenshots : Feel free to edit (I don't care about credit, you can even claim you are the creator if it helps you to impress a girl) and if you create a variant, don't hesitate to put it here. ... THIS MAP IS AMAZING! Its just the kinda massive battle that i like. I always wanted to see a map that has a ship in it but also how tons more instead of the ship being the only thing. You got my dl
Looks like a cool map. You should try to take a couple more pictures of the ship so that people can see a little more of your map. Great concept though, I have never seen a ship, some asteroids, and a city all in one.

I gave this a dl the day it came out. I played it multiple times. Its best with as many people as you can get and is just plain awesome. This map is aesthetically awesome, features great massively spaced out gameplay and timeless fun. While playing it however many people were saying it should take place at night since its suposed to be space. I agree. Some even suggested that it starts out as day and then next gen spawns, then juicy and colorblind and finally purple would spawn, showing the progression of time. This idea i dont like as much but i just wanted to throw both ideas out there cuz alot of people wanted it.
Hahahahahahahaha!!! Great map d00d. All I'd like to see is some effects to make it more spacelike because it feels like a simple fight overhead. Very fun, addicting, and crazy though.
In fact, it was an obvious idea to put it at night, I wonder how I didn't though about it. But I have already made about 50 games on this map (we don't know many other maps to play with 16 players) so I begin to get a little bored, I have planned to forge some other space battle. I have good ideas to improve the experience and I will take yours =)
Its an amazing map. I love it. I just wish I had 14 friends online more often so the map constantly hit its potential...
Do any of the rocks fall? Might be intresting to have some set to normal so you got the threat of rocks too. (If you havent already )
It would be awesome to have falling rocks but they are immovable objects. It is really dissapointing. I plan on DLing this. If you ever need players I'd love to play it with you.

Awesome map the concept with the ship and city merged together is really cool. I like the vehicle heavy gameplay too. Overall awesome map the only thing I would change is maybe adding an interesting story behind the map but again good job. DL and liked
