Here is a map I made in preparation of Halloween. (Status- Need Testers) Attention: For looks, add the juicy effect in forge. It makes the Jack O Lantern lighting to stand out. Either that or delete all the effects and add green and orange Special FX. It features a very large jack o lantern which was originally all I was going to do. After I made that, I thought of what else I could do. I decided to build a maze (an easy one, so as you can play infection on it). The maze varies if you're playing infection/safe havens or race. In race, some sections are blocked off and some walls are removed to make much smoother turns. There are also different sets of teleporters for both gametypes. It uses a purple special fx (with juicy it is way to dark but the pumpkin looks a lot better) Infection/Safe Havens The maze is built so that the infected aren't trapped at the spawn and can flank the humans. There is a teleporter in the mausoleum to get to the other side of the maze (the flank). If you all could provide feedback on it it would be great, for now its in the aesthetic section for having what I personally think is an awesome pumpkin. Oh and, if you have any advice on anything else I can add to the map, I have like $5000 budget left (adding that many walls and rocks isn't very expensive). The pumpkin cost like $1000 to make. Any advice would be great. Mostly detailed aesthetic advice would be nice, but I havn't used any buildings just walls and rocks so any advice is fine. I need testers before I can go on though. While maze maps are very common, I still appreciate the effort because you are being festive. Also the Jack-O LAntern cave entrance is preety awsome. Though does the maze look like a cave? or just like walls? Either way, good job!
Thank you! No, the maze is just walled. I ran out of rocks by then (6 left). I also ran out most of the walls (like 5 left).
I would like to see another "maze" map.. sure there are a huge amount of puzzle maps.. but actual mazes? no. This is the first one i have seen on reach.. and i have been looking... (edit: lollz not very hard i found) As for the map. I like it.. ill download it when i get a chance.
