Or turn on 3 extra controllers, 3 respawn points and spawn a tank and blow the guys up or you can just repeatedly assassinate all 3 of them. Either way takes less than 5 minutes no matter what the kills are. I love your idea though bro.
I played the last mission on normal with thunderstorm on and it didnt count, that why i posted that question to see what you guys did but ill try again and see. I agree with armadillo, gruntpocolapse is insanely easy and you get really good credits.
For sure it is, there is no arguing that, because you do get easy credits and a good amount of credits too, but after playing 50+ gruntpocolapse games on corvette, it gets so repetitive and boring it's not even fun any more.
I know, I usually only play enough of gruntpocalypse to get the challenges done and then I stop because after like 10 games it gets realllly boring.
I think I'll get my Shootin' and Lootin' in Multi-Team Matchmaking today. That will put a nice chunk of kills towards the weekly. Played two games of Multi-Team and already have 46 kills and 11 assists towards Secondary Fire. Anyone know if the Points, Points challenge is for the entire team? I know in Gruntpocalypse I get around 10k points.
Points challenge is for your individual score. This challenge esentially has to be done in team firefight because of the multiple sets. I did mine in sniperfight.
Just got Leadership Element in 20 minutes on Long Night of Solace - Mission Start on Normal. Just grabbed myself the wraith and bombed away at the never ending enemy assault.
Team SWAT's a very fast way to get a lot of kills for the Weekly, if you go alone and if you've used the DMR a lot in Gruntpocalypse. (Speaking of which, you can get any mode-independent kill count Challenge by doing Gruntpoc on Courtyard, defending the Terrace only, and only using the DMR. Ammo locker means you'll never run out of bullets, and only three (easily-monitored) entrances means you can focus more on aiming and no-scoping and less on having to watch your back. Gets you kills quick and it's good practice for Team SWAT.)
Gruntpocalypse does not help with SWAT.... It would mean you would be shooting spartans in the crotch in SWAT.
I found that the spawn room on Holdout is the best map to do it on. Equip yourself with Armour Lock just in case a grunt tosses a plasma your way and you should be set. You only have two doors to protect and 90% of the grunts go through the top door. You also have an ammunition locker behind you.. Also, to get the Weekly Challenge just go into MultiTeam and cross your fingers for Crazy King. You easily get 40+ kills chuckin' grenades into the hill all game.
One nice thing about the daily challenges this week... every day so far has had a daily challenge that if they were used in Multiplayer, it would have helped tremendously towards the weekly goal. I was fortunate to have received my Oops! All Kills Challenge during a normal game of Multi-Team Slayer. Can't get these pricks to get me into an Objective game type in Multi-Team today.
Looks like I'm set for two sets of gruntpocalypse and one of score attack for todays challenges Gotta love Corvette.
Today's challenges were way too easy IMO, although I shouldnt be complaining, getting us closer to 117 million
I don't see how anyone is going to be able to finish the Weekly with it being Halloween weekend and all.
