This will be my first proper reach map, and I am hoping for peoples opinions on what I have so far and will update this thread daily. Anybody who wishes to test this once it is complete, please message me. This is what I have so far for the middle structure. Please give me feedback, as I am hoping to push my abilities to the max to make the map as enjoyable for everyone.
What are your plans, if any, for the outer edges of the map? It would be nice to know what thoughts and ideas you have about the remaining parts of the map.
Well the map is inspired by the pit, so around the edges I would have semi-remakes of the sniper nests from them, and I am hoping to put another structure in the empty part behind this in picture 2
If this is inspired by The Pit then I take it that the structure shown is Camo Hall, is this correct? Key Elements of The Pit that should be incorporated. Rocket Hall Sword Room Camo Hall OS Tunnel Sniper Tower x 2 Shotgun Hall x 2 These are just the main areas of play that come to mind when I think of The Pit and I hope to see if and how these influence your design.
Yeah, it's not meant to be a exact copy, more inspired from, but that was styled from camo hall. I'm thinking of the camo hall and sniper towers, then adding my own ideas into the two other patches that should be left unused.
