In my upcoming map i have a slight problem, where i want to make a floating object using the S&Q method, but i found it requires some interlocking as well.

Is it possible to interlock floating items using the S&Q method? Or should i go back and stack it and try to interlock it?

The problem with stacking i believe is that if the item is not straight or sideways, it won't support itself when it spawns when i try to interlock it...

    help?

I think so. Go to your canvas and try it. But don't do it in your map.

it is possible to interlock whilst floating, but it is hard to get it to look neat.

Anything you can interlock normally, you can interlock in the air.

just use guide boxes or other items that will help keep it aligned. first save some floating guide boxes then interlock!

I think the second part is more directed to you. If saving and quitting while interlocking isn't working, try stacking walls and stuff to the perfect height, if its a weird object and isn't flat, try supporting it with something that is.
