Both teams start off in the own bases across from each other on the lowest level of the map. The spawn area for each team is protected by one way shield doors on each side. There are two ways to get to the next vertical level of the map...if you exit spawn base to your right there is a ramp up to the second level. Or, you can venture into the middle of the map to take the grav lift up even higher. Be warned, underneath the lift is the rocket launcher so right from the start there is likely to be a bunch of people trying to get their hands on the rockets If you decide to take the ramp to the second level and head back toward where your base is there is a lift made of one way shield doors to get you from the second level to the third level. There are then Grav lifts bringing you from the third to the fourth and the fourth to the fifth levels of each base. On the right side of each base there are more ramps and ways to get to the sniper tower--the highest level on the map. View from the Sniper spot--notice, the fusion coils so a well placed grenade can take out a sniper. This was made in the Coliseum section of Forgeworld. The sniper towers were really kind of inspired by one of my all time Halo maps--Prisoner from Halo 1. Hope you guys enjoy. Any feedback you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
The map looks pretty good but I have 1 question/suggestion. I have noticed you used a lot of shield doors and grav lifts in one area for blue base and are the lifts the only way up to the top of the bases? If so then I would suggest placing some ramps and maybe spreading out the lifts alittle bit.
The lifts get you from the bottom of the base to the top of the base, however, there are also long railings in the wall which can be jumped onto and walked across to get into the upper areas of the base as well. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Got to test this out last night with a little two on two action....the map is a little too large for 2v2 but should be perfect for 4 v4...it is a symmetrical map.
