Tempest is not meant to be a Forgeworld 2.0, it is meant to be something on a much smaller scale. Don't be expecting a forgeworld 2.0 for a while, Bungie needs time to look through (constructive) criticism about forgeworld and build a new map up around that, these maps were under development since before the game released.

I hate trailers like this, sure it shows lots of gameplay, but you really can't see what the maps truly look like with all the action angles.

Definitely Excited for Tempest and Breakdown.

Anchor 9 looks like a chaotic mess, but who knows. I'll give it a shot.

I'm pretty excited about all of the maps, but Tempest in particular.

I love Forge World, but the Colosseum, Quarry and Ravine feel like the only places where it's practical to build. Alaska and Montana are irregularly shaped and very uneven for terrain. When I've tried to put things down there, I'm never happy with the way the results look. I had something I was working with on the island, but I think the save was corrupted or something, which means I get to start again. (And the way one side of the island has infinitely superior access to the high ground than the other troubles me a bit.)

If Tempest is a smaller, but more focused Forging area, I'm all for it. I haven't made a map yet that used my entire Forge budget, so something that has a bit of a lower limit doesn't scare me.

I never said it would or should be forge world 2.0, I was just pointing some of the obvious things that are related to forging, the budget which being a little less doesn't bother me really, and the only object seen used so far is the long walkway from the palette we already have, again not too much of a problem considering just how huge the amount of different objects we already have. I'm just hoping for a few different or new pieces if possible, maybe at least one thing that reflects color better or something :]

I'd truly love to see some different skins for the pieces we have. Even if you can only choose one skin per saved map, it'd do a lot to add to the visual variety of forged maps. I think a lot of the ill-will that players hold towards those maps in matchmaking comes from the fact that they're all the same color/pattern. The only way to differentiate yourself visually is by using pieces in creative ways. While I've definitely had my mind blown by that, I think that the average joe would be happy to see something besides the same old silver.

lets not turn this into the same discussion about new features we want in Forge for the millionth time.

im very excited for all three new maps. I expect Tempest to have a smaller version of FW's palette and budget, but i expect it will be pretty awesome to forge on as well.

Anchor 9 and Breakpoint look like a lot of fun too.
