Hello forgehub. This is my first competitive map on a Halo game. I have no pretension on it eventhough I have spent a few hours to smooth it and make it nice visualy speaking. It's a basic map : two floor making two circles. One with the bridges, one near the lava with rocks and bridges. Weapons on map : 1 shotgun, 1 rocket, 1 Sniper Riffle. All other weapons are DMR or NR. Overview First floor : a bridge in circle and a rock rigg around Second floor The map is compatible with most gametypes with only a few players. Have fun
All of you commenting on how long he claimed hed been working on it, stop. Its spam regardless of how you look at it and he was obviously exaggerating... you know, hyperbole?
It looks pretty good, but with such small bases it seems as if spawn killing would be a big problem. I really like how you made the center bridge. It really sticks out aesthetically, but flow-wise it could be better. By using the 4 bridge corners and placing the other bridges above the railing, it makes it so the player has to jump up to them. at the very least, add a small ramp up to those bridges. Having only three path on the map makes it pretty difficult to win, too. Either add another path or make them intersect in more than one place.
I just mistaken, I wanted to say "hours" sorry -_-" It was 3AM in France. Btw it is a map created only for FFA and especially random gametypes like Juggernaut, oddball, Koth or Headhunter. Not for team gametypes !
It's weird how for weeks after Reach came out there were no volcano maps, and now there's at least 4 or 5 of them that I've seen (including mine, link in my sig below). Something in the water apparently! But I'm pleased to see anything other than plain gray forerunner maps at this point.
