So I just wanted to jump in here and make an introduction of myself. On here and on Live you can find me as "Portal of Souls" (no quotations). I came here in hopes of finding like minded players that enjoy forging and testing forgeries. My creations often take on symmetrical traits, are competitive in nature, and I naturally take my forging rather seriously, though I can and do drop it all just to goof and have fun on occasion. I am a perfectionist of sorts and spend a great deal of time to get my maps to play well as well as look aesthetically correct. Please feel free to friend me on Live if I sound like I'd match up well with your gamestyle. I am looking for primarily for gamers that want to test maps out together whether it be of their making or mine. Look forward to my map posts soon, I have one complete and just need to post, and another coming very soon.
I know how you feel about being a Perfectionist and being serious about forging stuff. Reason why I still havent made a map on Reach or even H3. Just could never finish them all up XD. Anyway, enjoy your time Souls and remember to read the rules and FAQ if you need any help. Im always always open to PMs, if you would need help too .
Welcome to forgehub. If you are going to submit a map, make sure to send it through the tester's guild and they will help you perfect it with feedback. You can find it in the trc forum.
So for anybody who happens upon this post, I guess it's official. I've made my way into forgehub, and I am moving up in this corner of the world. I have my first map post (you'll see it in my Sig) and I've got another in the works, which can be seen here; Radiation and I'm in the works of passing off an unfinished map that I was inspired to do, but ran out of steam since I don't really know how an invasion map is designed (ie. I couldn't make a good one). So a quick note, thank you forgehub, thank you community, and thanks for checking out my maps! Hope you enjoy!
Yeah, it can be tough to get some good criticism on your map in the flood of maps out there. Welcome to Forge Hub, and hopefully I'll be able to take a look sooner or later (no promises)
Thanks Insane54, from what I can tell you're pretty avid around here in the hub. I'd like to do my best and offer some greatness to this site, so if you've got any tips let me know. Thanks again!
