Hi everyone! New to the site, so sorry about this semi-sloppy first post. First and foremost, no picture, but i'm hoping with the description you can give my map a chance for a time being until I can edit it later! Bastion is a mostly symmetrical, base-oriented map that can support 1-16 plays (10 is comfortable) for multiple gametypes: Team Slayer, Multi-Team, Stockpile, Capture the Flag, King of the Hill and Oddball. Bastion is a large map showcased by a few main setpieces for the action. Red base and blue base are identical, two story simple buildings. Ground floor (spawn floor) leads out to main arena with a tunnel and teleporter to bottom floor. If you can figure out how to get on top of your base, you'll find a mancannon shortcut to the rocket launcher. Bastion is recognizable for the 5 story tower in the middle of the level. Basement(2) holds shotgun, basement(1) holds Oddball spawn, first floor (holds elevator), second floor, third floor has teleporter access to Chapel Tower and shortcut to rocket launcher and the rooftop fourth floor holds rockets. These floors are not fluid and cannot necessarily be accessed by one another in succession. It takes strategy to take advantage of the tower and all it's pieces. On one side of the long main battlefield there is the large "Chapel Tower" segment. Hanging over a large dish shaped battlefield is a tower (with elevator to the top) which holds the best. Chapel Tower showcases the best highground battle view of the entire map, so naturally it also holds the sniper. Chapel Tower is an important setpiece for the Oddball and King of the Hill gametypes, as it provides the best natural Oddball defense place and the most difficult Hill to defend. On the opposite side of the map from Chapel Tower is the small outlet without any real name, so we'll just call it... "Sword Base"... original huh? This small building/arena holds the sword, a very hectic Hill spot and a mancannon elevator to the main tower's third floor. All in all, this sounds like a very busy map because honestly it is. It started as the main two base map with a small tower in the middle and turned into something very different! I feel all the additions vary the gameplay and keep it interesting. This is a map where you need to know where locations/power weapons are to have a good time, so give it a fly-over in Forge before you try playing it with friends. Thanks everyone! Main map layout, sorry for weirdish angle. The sword area is low down behind the main tower, directly opposite Chapel Tower on the level but not nearly as tall. Nice one! This is a very good level! It's simple, but it works! I really enjoy the feel of the area. There are just two small problems. The power weapons (ie sniper rifle and shotgun) still have the default respawn time of 30, where preferably they would respawn much later, around 90 - 150. Also at the Blue base, the shield doors are slightly out of alignment with the gap they are supposed to close. The Red base is fine, but the blue shield doors are a little funky. Overall, one of the best maps I've seen in a while. Truly inspirational. Dear viewers, DO NOT IGNORE THIS MAP BECAUSE IS HAS NO PICTURES! Oh wait, now it has pictures... IT IS GREAT!
I think you should NOT have that name and yes, we should have at least one embedded picture or it WILL be LOCKED! Please read rules and forum rules.
Pfft, I meant that people shouldn't just pass it by because it has no pictures. Sure, it needs some, but until that happens look past the momentary ignorance and into the genius that he/she is trying to put across! Besides, Svonhershman has told us that he/she is new and apologizes for any mistakes. Give 'em a break. Are you really that offended? Really?!

Pretty cool map! So far i've played Stockpile, King of the Hill and Slayer on it and they are pretty fun. It takes awhile to learn where the weapons are but if you run around and find everything before having a serious game then it's a great map!
