I feel like an idiot right now. I can't manage to set up a simple assault gametype. When I start forge under the neutral assault gametype the only objective items are flag stand, capture plate and hill marker.

I can tell I'm doing something terribly wrong. What is it? :(

Ahhh, I made that mistake first time...

Here is a set of articles that you can follow to set up gametypes.
And Here is your guide to setting up a gametype for assault.

However, that doesn't tell you so much... so:
You don't need to really open the "Neutral Bomb Assault" gametype. Just open the normal "Assault".

From there, you will want to place bombs and detonation points, no? For the bombs, use the hill markers, change the label to "as_bomb", set it to your wanted team (eg. red, blue) and make sure the gametype specific option is set to true.

For capture points, use capture points. Change the label to "as_goal" and set a team. This can't be neutral. As well as this, set the gametype specific to true.

Now for the neutral one, it is as simple as placing a hill marker to where you want the bomb to appear, change the team to "neutral", label to "as_bomb" and gametype specific to true.

This will now make the game work for all the assault gametypes.

    Hope it helps!

Ps. One last thing: If you are stuck further, look at some of the built in maps on forge. Preferably Asylum. See how Bungie did it...

Thanks, that helped a lot. Objectives aren't as straight forward as in Halo 3 I see.
