I have forged some on Halo 3, but I've never been into Forge that much. After being a little unsatisfied with Reach MP, I decided I try out Reach's heavily improved Forge. I've always wanted to make a competitive map, and it wasn't until recently that I spent a good amount of time toying and building. So far, I haven't placed spawns, objectives, or weapons, as I am still looking to improve the map itself. I'm looking for some good, constructive feedback from experienced forgers about both the layout and aesthetics. I already believe I fell pretty short on the looks, but I'm also looking for someone who can help me improve my skills. The map is currently unnamed and stands as a symmetrical map. Looks a bit cluttered from the screenshots you've posted; you don't need to fill the entirety of the map with structure open areas are okay.
That's actually exactly what a couple of my friends said at first. But I think it becomes more comfortable after taking a walk around a bit.
