    About Line of Sight: Line of Sight is an intense SWAT map where players, if aware, can punish ill-advised moves with a quick death. Two bases have several trenches and bunkers, with a bridge hill in the middle. There is a back alleyway with additional cover. It is completely symmetrical. You have limited cover, but if used correctly, you can control the map.



    Changes since Version 1:
    • Crates replacing Wire Spools at the end of each Hallway.
      [*]Extra half-hill in the Hallway. You can go under it.
      [*]Side boxes with a wall flooring added into the Hallway.
      [*]Entire weapon set added.
      [*]Overshields added for decoration only.
      [*]Corner walls near the Bridge have been removed, making for easy walking across the bridge, and also creating a basement below the Bunkers.
    Weapons:
    R = Respawn Rate
    S = Place at Start
    C = Spare Clips

    2x Bubble Shield (R = 90, S = Yes)
    2x Assault Rifle (R = 45, S = Yes, C = 1)
    1x Active Camo (R = 150, S = Yes)
    2x SMG (R= 45, S = No, C = 2)
    2x Plasma Rifle (R = 45, S = No)
    1x Energy Sword (R = 120, S = Yes)
    4x Frag Grenade (R = 10, S = Yes)
    5x Battle Rifle (R = 30, S = Yes, C = 2)
    2x Plasma Cannon (R = 60, S = Yes)
    2x Sniper (R = 60, S = Yes, C = 0)

    Game Details:
    - Supported Gametypes: Team Games like CTF, Slayer, Ball, King of the Hill, Assault and Territories.
    - Not Supported: Multiple Teams, Juggernaut, Infection, VIP with Go to Points.
    - Recommended People: 2 to 8 players.
    - Recommended Gametypes: SWAT Variants and Snipers Variants.

    Since Version 1 the walls below the Bridge have been removed, leaving this basement.

    Forging Techniques Used:
    - Merging into the floor
    - Floating objects
    - Save and Quit
    - Interlocking

    I put my time into this second map of mine, and I would really appreciate you putting the time into a quick forgethrough or game.

    FAQ: The Wall: There is a two-box high wall blocking off the other side of Foundry. Sometimes breaking out of walls hurts maps, but this is not a problem for Line of Sight. First, it is a double box high, making it very hard to impossible to grenade jump out of the map. Second, the grenade will nearly kill you by itself in SWAT. Third, this map is really intended for SWAT or Snipers, and it is such a small map where alertness wins that even if you find a way out, you'll probably be killed before you get there.

    FAQ: Spawn Killing: Spawn Killing is usually a problem in most SWAT games, even on big maps, but with the eight game variants in my fileshare, for four seconds when you spawn, you are invulnerable and cannot deal damage, so spawn killing is a non-issue. You have just enough time to get your bearings, then it is back to action!

    FAQ: Overshields: You may have noticed the Overshields in some of the pictures. They are ABOVE the Wall Boundary and are unacessible, only for decoration.

    FAQ: MLG Version: Line of Sight v2's MLG Version, with a link at the top, has the same scenery and design, but an MLG weapon set consisting of Carbines, BRs, Sniper Rifles and a Mauler.

    I hope you enjoyed my second map on this site, I tried to take my time and make this a worthy map to download. It really is a great map for gameplay, and I would love if you could take the time to actually download it. I would much rather hear about how to improve the gameplay on this map, than how to smooth it out or make it look better.

    I like any map with interlocking, or at least the interlocking part. And what I like even more is that you used geometry merging, good use of forge techniques. Hopefully I will have time to try this and get back to you with feedback.

    Looks cool, and it seems like somebody finally put anough cover into an MLG map to make actually fun. Ill dL once i get rid of all the crap in my custom content

    Great, glad to know there are enough people around that don't just judge a map by pics.

    Cool, thanks for the DL, not too sure about that MLG comment, usually they have enough cover, but a lot of them look very similar. Yeah, I HATE that 100 content limit!!

    looks very good i like the bunker type maps but in the first pic left hand corner it looks a little sloppy those 2 walls .Looks good ill check it out l8er

    awesome i love the use of interlocking and where you hid the invisable nice job I also like the symmetrical bases or what to looks like symmetrical bases

    Thank you. I got the bridge hill piece from iLuckyshots's Palooza V2. He did it on a much larger scale and didn't have the walls or camo in there, but I really wanted this map to be about using the angles and hiding spaces.

    it looks great! unfortunately, im not that big on swat or snipers, so i wont dl, but nice job

    Ok, I understand, sometimes there's a map that I have to give the creator plenty of credit for a good job, but it's not my kind of map.

    um, not to be mean, but this looks kinda messy, and i think that you have some really unique ideas, but i think that you failed in utilizing them the best you could have. And with the double box in the map geometry, it looks a bit crooked, i know its almost impossible to make it straight, but trying those few extra times can make a map look and feel a whole lot better.

    I appreciate your comment, but judging from this comment and the one on my previous comment (Which was messy) you seem to really focus on how neat a map is, rather than the gameplay. I like your maps a lot, and you're a great forger, but I really would prefer comments about the gameplay and how to make that better.

    Looks like a good map but its very bland!! wheres the creativity like something helicopter wait nevermind not orginal but you know what i mean.

    I saw your post - were you joking from that? Because you have a helicopter... and you're kinda getting slammed for creativity... Sorry, just confused by what you mean here.
