So, I've recently made two awesome looking maps that function fairly well with very little flaws except for ones that are in the programming issues that I'm not sure I can fix. First off, I made a golf course called (NOT SO MINI) GOLF. The course is awesome, everything plays well, friends are enjoying it, but the golf balls don't respawn for a very long time after they land in the cups. You pretty much have to go through the whole course one person at a time before the next person can begin on hole number one due to the golf ball respawn situation. And before someone suggests it, I set the respawn time on each golf ball to its lowest level. As far as I've researched, it seems to be an issue with other people too. Anyone know any solutions for this???

Secondly, the dice in the "toys" section in forge got me wanting to make a board game so I made the map AGGRAVATION (THE BOARD GAME). However, when I decided to use vehicles as tokens since there is nothing else you can really pick up and set down and have up to four of per player to mark your spot, I wasn't expecting the vehicles to randomly vanish when not in use for only a couple of minutes... can this be fixed???

I have both of these maps made, put hours into them and really need some help getting them solid.

    Thanks.

It's kind of funny, on one hand you're wishing objects had short idol respawn properties, while at the same time hoping for longer respawn times for your other game. There isn't much you can do to change that, so I suspect you'll have to think up a clever way to handle the situation.

In Golf, possibly use a round based gametype so that when one player ends the course it can be started over by the other player.

And for the other board game, I'm not so sure. You'll have to think up something on your own.

You can set the run time minimum to it's highest for the vehicle problem, and I think re-spawn never should work for that as well. Don't sue me if I'm wrong.

Your golf ball problem should be fixed by putting a kill zone over the hole. All objects are treated the same when they enter a kill zone, I think.
They despawn and the respawn timer is activated.

If you have ball set to respawn instantly (run time min = number of map) and have the ball go in to a soft kill zone in the hole, the ball will be in the hole for 10 seconds then will respawn.

I've tried chucking things beyond my maps' borders before and thats what I think happens. Give it a shot, tell me if it doesn't work.

As for your second problem; just don't use vehicles. I don't like board games in Forge anyway but try using the 3x1 flat blocks and colour code them.

Definitely like the Killzone suggestion DMM White. I'll be trying that one out soon. And yeah, the board game was kind of just a test thing for the heck of it. Have some extended family who aren't hardcore gamers who I thought would enjoy it.
