title is a joke bewtween me and my friends. i did a quick search, and didnt find a general discussion thread. so here we are, lets talk about black cops. i mean ops. i dont know how to tee this off, ive been busy reaching. what are the confirmed game modes?
I think that Call of duty Black Ops will be a major disappointment. The name is actually a typo. The original name was Carl of Duty Black Cops, and because treyarch is too busy to notice this typo people are going to be very annoyed. Here is the original game cover. Now to actually talk about this game so this isn't spam... I think that a lot of people buying are just buying because it says Call of Duty. MW2 was very hyped and there were big problems.
zombie trailer should drop in about a fortnight. hope its good. that will be my deciding factor whether i buy the game.
I'm just going to get it, only because my friends that play during the week are all going to play it instead of reach. Weekends will stay Reach, though.
I personally am not going to spend a dime on Black Ops. MW2 was the deciding factor for the series... Also, apparently I'm a homosexual because I like to play a game that's balanced and not full of hackers... *Stares at most of online community*
I think it's going to be awesome. I really don't think people should judge it based on MW2's performance, it looks like Treyarch has taken out all the bullshit factors from MW2 and it should be a bit more polished since Treyarch had more than twice the amount of people working on BO than Infinity Ward did for MW2. It looks like a nice refresh to the series.
right now the people on mw2 are putting me off this. i have never lost so much faith in humanity in such a short time.
If you play Modern Warfare Hardcore S&D only, its a pretty awesome game. That's why I want Black Ops.
I don't know if I should buy Black Cops - I mean Black Ops - or not because, TBH, the only reason I kind of want it is for the Zombie mode. There's so much win in this post.
agreed. and i feel like treyarch tries to take away the bullshit factors from COD, considering WaW was pretty mellow as a game, and i think they will get it right for black cops.
With all the hate going around for Black Ops before it's even out yet, I wouldn't be surprised if Black Ops is the death of Call of Duty. (AKA: The last Call of Duty game)
With Activision as the publisher, I highly doubt it. I'm not sure if I'm going to buy the game. The customization and the new way to get guns seems very cool but I really don't want to have to deal with the idiots that migrate from Modern Warfare 2. I think I'll wait a while after it's released before I decide to buy it.
What do you mean? Activation doesn't make the game, Treyarch and Infinity Ward do. Without Treyarch/Infinity Ward making the game, Activision wouldn't have a game to publish in the first place.
Do I plan on getting it? Yes Do I plan on playing it more than reach? No. COD is fun, in extreme moderation. Most people ONLY play cod, and everything else "sucks". I disagree. COD can only be fun for a few games. It's also nice for when you have a short amount of time to play, as I could care less about leaving a game of COD early... I also plan on modding the hell out of black ops 0_o
Call of Duty is owned by Activision, not Infinity Ward or Treyarch. What I'm saying is that no matter how boring and broken a Call of Duty game could be, fanboys will continue to buy the games. Activision will keep making money and continue to publish COD games with or without Treyarch/Infinity Ward.
Well then they would have to find a whole new developer, cuz correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Activision has ever developed their own games.
