DOS4all is a slayer arena map which also supports team slayer and 2 team CTF games. Its a remake of a map I did back in 1994 for the original Doom when I was 14. Feros Ferio is my family clan motto in latin which means 'I am fierce with the fierce' so liked to add a personal touch to the map. There is a raise walkway which runs round the outside of the map it can be accessed from one of the four ramps around the maps at the sides or via the gravity lifts in the corners which are also close to the teleports that take you to the sniper nests. Video of the gravity lift in action The centry of the map contains a gravity lift to the central raise bunker but beware a stay grenade in this room can setoff the explosives as this guy found out: In CTF games half of the maps objects are colour coded red and the otherside blue so it is easy for you to know which side of the arena you are on. hey, the map looks quite different now with all the content in the middle. and it looks like you took out the colosseum walls that were slanted over the top. i was the guy who was helping you when you set them up.
Cheers mate, Yeah I remember. Decided against that in the end which gave me some more pieces to do the feros ferio wording on the wall and some other detail. Was hoping to do some CTF play testing on it this evening but nobodies on yet. Just downloaded some of the most downloaded maps on the bungie site and they are awful, don't know how they get the donwloads. The Mcdonalds level is just a emty box more or less what a joke.
