I already posted this really late last night, but it didn't get any replies. (C'mon, ForgeHub!) I just want some feedback. :(

So, I'm nearing the final version of my map Yeti Bay. <--- Download Link

It may look kinda asymmetrical and weird, but it's actually pretty balanced. I paid close attention to the details of this map.

At it's current state, it's pretty solid. I've done many test runs with it's supported gametypes, and I haven't run into any problems so far. Although, I would still really love to get a few more matches to find out any problems with spawning and such before I consider it final.

I would really like to thank the people who have helped me test this map. I was very surprised at the positive reactions while playing it. Definitely inspires me to keep forging. :)

Oh, and if you do download it and test it out, don't be hesitant to walk in the water. (Except for the water behind the Red Base. That's the deep end. )

I placed Grids underneath the water, and they disappear as soon as they're submerged. :p

Anyway, find your opinions and give them to me.

I'm really digging this. I love U-shaped maps, and this looks like it could be one of my favourites. The aesthetics are amazing too, especially the 2 two orange-red towers. I think its the assymetrical features that got me on this map.

Thanks for the replies guys. Glad you guys are liking what you see. I'm trying to gather some guys to test this map with more than 4 people, so if you would like to organize some games some time, just add me.

Oh, and are the screens not showing up for you, xWooden leafx? I can see them... unless somehow I did something else wrong...

I would recommend maybe putting something out in the middle to make navigating that area a bit more interesting. Also your bases look a little sparse and open as well. Aside from that it is very asthetically pleasing. The juicy looks great and the layout looks really friendly.

In order to put something in the middle would mean I would probably have to delete my aesthetic touches (They look so awesome! lol). But I may tinker around with some things and see what I can do.

The bases are open by design. I don't want everyone to be able to chill in their base because it's all elaborate and easy to camp in. I wanted to avoid what I call the "Hemorrhage Syndrome" If one team is dominating, the other team will want to camp in their base. I tried to set up the spawning so that if the other team is getting dominated, they will spawn in places that will hopefully enable them to gain back control of that area and even up the playing field. If they're able to camp and/or are stuck inside their base, it will make it frustrating for both teams.

My bases and spawns may or may not do that, but that's why I'm still in the testing stages. ;)

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. It's really helping.
