Here is Monolith. It was inspired by the second mission of Halo CE, where you have to rescue and defend the marines after landing on the Ring. It plays best with more people, and is tailored for team battles. The original design required an underground that goes beneath the main structure. I would have loved to of had that, but since I can't excavate, there are teleporters behind the Red and Blue bases. Supports multi-team. Here are some pics. By the way, I'm a terrible photographer. [Overview - Main structure with mini bases on either side. The fence blocks off the rest of Hemorrhage, along with a soft kill zone.] [Horrible picture - Map was based on this area in Halo CE. You have no idea how hard it is to find a good picture of this thing. Hopefully you know what I mean though.] [The Monolith - This is a closer look. This part of the structure supports the flag and the rocket launcher. [Mini base - Where the teams spawn. This angle shows the teleporters to the "underground."] [The Underground - This connects the two mini-bases. Also mirrors what the underground looks like in Halo CE.] Comments/questions/quandaries/queries?
As soon as I realized that you map was that Halo CE level I was like, "Woah, that's cool" Great idea recreating a classic campaign level. I would add more than just the red and blue base, though. If I recall correctly, there are a bunch of small structures surrounding the monolith. Really cool, map.
Thanks! As for the red and blue bases, they were supposed to represent the small structures from the Halo CE campaign. I would have liked to do more with them, but I ran short on budget. I know what you mean though, it could use up some more of that empty space.
