I don't know if this is a basic thing everyone knows, but I didn't notice it til last night.

Minimun/Maximum values are global for all explosives on the map. If you set a min/max of say 4/8 on a landmine, it is the same on every Fusion Coil on the map.

Anybody know a way around this?

Wow... Bungie really left out a lot of features from Halo3's Forge...

Yeah, I have noticed that, and yes as you said, like if you only have 2 fusion coils and 5 land mines and change the minimum to how many land mines, it would do the same for the fusion coils, so those extra 3 would keep spawning where those 2 fusion coils are.. and Yes they left out a lot of stuff from Halo 3's forge.. its even glitchier too. Like for example to Never respawning and not spawning at start issue.. and also the glitchy coordination in the game.. and The Biggest and gayest issue (so far), lets say you dealt with all of that, now you have to deal with the possibility of your map magically being overwritten for a random reason.. YAY! for Bungie ZBR really? not much testing then

Are you sure that you are setting the minimum values for both explosive devices? It could be set by default to work that way unless specified...

Definately, I went back and forth three times with each one, a landmine and plasma coil. Then to see what all is included in the global values, I tried a plasma battery. It seems anything under the explosives heading falls under the global values.

I have not tested them on different gametypes, though. I was in the Slayer gametype when I discovered it.

If you used up all of your, say, "wall: doubles" in Halo 3's Forge, you could just move on to "wall: singles." In Reach, if you use up all of your "wall: doubles (or anything)" tough luck: you're out of windows, walls, and doors. Good luck finishing that map of yours.

That really frustrates me, I have so many incomplete maps!

Well if you having trouble with using all your walls up, try using building block 4by4 flats. if your still having trouble use Brace Large, and if your are still having problems use platforms. Windows use decorative window cover. Check out my map Avolanty Helms Deep, if you have problems making maps smaller then this watch my video me making helms deep it gives you a lot of inspiration to large structure building and interior.
