Anyone who played the old Halo: Custom Edition maps will probably know this game pretty well. It was a ton of fun back in the day and now I'm just about finished re-making it for Halo: Reach. It is pretty much soccer with warthogs. Use the Warthogs to put the soccer ball in the goal. Simple enough. Thanks to Graybes for the scoring mechanism that I used on this map. You're a genius bro. Anyways, here are some pictures for you to see. Let me know what you think and if there is something that I should change to make it better I would love to hear about it. Overview of the arena: Blue goal: Red goal: If you decide to get out of your warthog, you have 10 seconds to get back in: Again, if you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks.
Sounds uber 1337, I wanna try it, but I was thinking that you should have ghosts and indestructible vehicles, because they can push it better.
Can you explain the scoring mechanism, or link me to Graybes original post of the scoring mechanism? I wanna see how it works.
Oh my god... I remember this! Wow, one of the only few people on forgehub remember this. Its sad you cant have a bigger ball. Sigh.
Just look for his map called "Smashball Arena." He shows how it works there. I will have to try it with ghosts and see how that works. But the warthogs are already indestructible I wish the ball could be bigger, that way it would be exactly like old times! Anyone have any other suggestions to make this map better?
definitely want to test this. looks amazing. nice kill zone placement too. i like your whole map, great ideas right thurr. the circle is pretty fresh. you should just make the map less boring looking. thats all you can really do, is just add aesthetics. also, you should put slants on all the walls to keep the ball in play in the middle.
I would love to have you help test this with me when I get it all done. I thought the map looked a little boring and I'm trying to figure out how to make it better. I will also need to come up with some way to make all the walls slanted because right now I have 0 walls to use and only about 9 building blocks left. I'll figure something out. Thanks for the input.
