I've been lurking on and off here for 1-2 years, and finally made an account. I tried forging in Halo 3 and had some fun with it, but never made any serious maps. Some of the maps you guys have created blew my mind. Now that forge is easier to use and less time consuming, I plan on actually making some serious maps. I hope to learn good map design such as, spawning, weapon placement, etc. See you around the forums!
Welcome to Forge Hub! There's a couple of pretty good articles on that stuff in the Forging 101 and 201 sections in Halo 3; hopefully soon they'll be ported over to Reach but the same general concepts still hold constant
