UNDERKING Plaza, looking at Blue Base This will be the first Reach map I'm pushing out, and it took me around 10 hours or so to make - not including the playtesting. The theme of the map is the hollowed inside of a mountain, and it is best suited for 4v4 conflict or four to six player free for all. The best map to relate this to I suppose would be something reminiscent of Gemini from Halo 2. It is designed to suit both Slayer and CTF variants especially. One key feature I kept in mind while doing the concept work and while forging was to make each area distinct enough to have its own callout, such as Red Tunnel, Garden, Under Blue, etc. Y'know, for the hardcores. WEAPON LIST: DMR - 7 Assualt Rifle - 2 Pro Pipe, 3 mags - 2 Rocket Launcher, 1 mag - 1 Shotgun, 1 mag - 1 Magnum - 2 Energy Sword - 1 Needle Rifle - 2 Needler - 2 Plasma Pistol - 2 Spiker - 2 Frags - 4 Stickies - 6 View from the Garden down to the Plaza ^ The Sword is located in the Garden (Not pictured: last second edit to extend the Cliff into each Base so the jump is no longer neccessary. Some testers struggled with the jump so it hindered gameplay.) View from the Cliff over the Plaza to the Garden ^ The Shotgun is on the Cliff Purple Tunnel under the Cliff ^ Nifty spot to catch a breathe and some health Bottom Floor of Blue Base ^ Two DMRs, an AR, and a Magnum are located here. Top of Blue Base ^ The Needle Carbine and Pro Pipe are here, as well as most objectives. Red Base ^ Identical to Blue Base in all ways. Except the colours. A better view of the Garden ^ The cannon brings you gently to the Cliff Red Lift. Brings you up to the Red Tunnel.^ A Spiker and Sticky are here. Has a Blue Counterpart Blue Tunnel, connects Blue Base with the Garden ^ Has a Red counterpart And one last good look at the Cliff ^ Special thanks to II Tyspartan II, Da Rel Slim Shady, and a bunch of members of the ODST 42nd Recon for the help with testing and kicking my ass on my own map. Looks as if you put a lot of time in this map. I havent seen a Covenant based map in vorever, it's always been UNSC. I like it, it isnt sloppy at all and not too crowded, just perfect for some Slayer 10/10

submit this for the bungie contest cuz this map r00lz. great job. it looks so clean and the aesthetics are great
I was considering that, but I'm not entirely sure which catagory to submit it under, I was thinking CTF would be best because that and Slayer are the ideal gametypes for this map. And while the map isn't super clean and there are definitely rough spots, I don't think they impede gameplay.

I'm definitely liking the look of this map. These guys are right, it's good to have another Covenant themed map. It changes things up a bit. Will download and try to get some games on it. Let me know if you need anyone to test/play it. I'm always down for some customs.
looks really cool, and yeah try for the competition. the biggest thing wrong with this map though is that this map has human weapons. its a covenant map so why dont you use covenant weapons. just look at zealot. no unsc weps
@ Firedrone The reason I utilized the human arsenal for this map is because I think it better embodies core Halo gameplay. And covenant weapons suck. And thanks everybody for the compliments
