Download Here! Watering Hole has been updated! Various, subtle tweaks have been added to my first map, and have so far been met with positive feedback. These changes include... Spawn support for multiple teams! Games now support ALL team colors instead of just standard red and blue. Weapon additions/tweaks! Spawn times and ammo counts have been changed on many of the heavier weapons. The rocket launcher now takes 75 seconds to spawn, and so does the sniper rifle. The grenade launcher has also been moved near the Center Dish area. Some additions include: Two pistols on the map; Two plasma pistols; Grenades!; One focus rifle; and one fuel rod cannon. Juicy! For a more vibrant feel. Purely aesthetic. Objective support! Full support for Oddball, KotH, and Headhunter (previous objective flaws fixed). Map design hinders the addition of CTF and AS, but those will be worked on in Version 3. Entered in the Forgetacular contest, the map had to go through various playtests. Can we get some more wider pics? Rather than multiple action shots of small areas. I'm also not a fan of the filters. Nether the less - it looks like you put a lot of time into this map and seems fun to play on.
I don't mind the filters but you'll need to post some images that focus more on the map, rather than the players.
the filter sorta works on this map, i dont mind it much, thought the focus on action shots is annoying, the map looks pretty solid though
Good weapon placement, but I'm not too keen on this map. Some of the areas are a bit sketchy and the water usage on this map isn't the best. For example, you can't see some of the walkways under the colour filtered water and could be stepping into a hole rather than a path. It just doesn't seem so well planned. Good size map however and I think I might use it for bigger games in the future. 3.1/5
I have a map that I was planning to post here called "Watering Hole". Looks like a name change is in store for me. On the map itself, however, I see no problems. If you ever want to see this make it into the actual Matchmaking playlists I would recommend getting rid of the Juicy FX.
Map's been updated already, the links should now take you to the latest update! Juicy is gone and many subtle changes have been added.
