Lagoona by iTz iMace Whoo', first map in almost 2 years. Just bear with me here. This map was borne out of frustration on key parts of the maps released with the disk. Lacking X-Y differentiation, mixing of Lines of Sight, and the overall 'fun' element, I decided to make my own which would hopefully serve as a map that included all of these things. I aimed to inlude the most important, the 'fun' element. Set up mainly for Slayer (of the FFA kind), it also supports Inection, Safe Havens, and Oddball. Good old fashioned fun gametypes, 'eh? It was actually quite fun testing this map, I remembered when I first joined you and saw this map being created a little while ago, thinking, what a random place for a map, but in the end it came together well. Being a avid forger myself (even though it has since declined after I realized the overwhelming possibilities of forgeworld), I've learned that it's invaluable to have a pool of friends who can offer constructive criticism after testing a map, You took what we suggested, and even expanded upon it, making one kick*** map. Also, glad to see that you've gotten back into forge bro.
I really really want to enjoy this map, It plays very well. The downfall of this map is the astronomical lack of cover. You have a $3620 budget left. I would advise updating the map and adding more cover. Also, The effect used really made me feel bored due to lack of colour. Brilliant forging though, I must admit. Just please add more cover.
Have you actually played it? There are only filters when playing infection (pics are shooped) and there isn't any need for 'cover' or random blocks as you are saying. Natural cover provides great LoS and... well... cover?
