LABYRINTH V1.0 By Agent Spank Game Type: Survival 101 Initial zombie count: 2 (change to 1 for about 6 players, 2 for 7-11 players, and 3 for 12-16 players) Round Time: 8 Minutes (3 Rounds) Human Traits: No Radar, Regular speed, Regular gravity, Weapon pick-up enabled, no shields, 150% damage resistance. Zombie Traits: Enhanced Radar (75 meters), evade, 150% speed, normal gravity, 50% damage, 90% health, no shields. Players: 4-16 (best with at least 8 players though), forced color Black Human Loadouts Cobra: Shotgun, Magnum, 1x Frag Eagle: Assault Rifle, Magnum, 1x Frag Ling Ling: Magnum, Sprint, 1x Frag As the title says, this is meant to feel like a Labyrinth. It is meant to be confusing, disorienting and dark. Supposed to make you feel isolated and to keep you on your toes. I can say that this will map will keep you on your toes and make you even jump or yelp a few times, even if you don't get killed. Also, all your friends nav points are off so it's easy to get separated if you don't pay attention. You will also run into other players and it will catch ya off guard so much you'll likely shoot each other, so friendly fire has been turned off. But due to the limited ammo on the map you need your shots to count. Because of all the tight corridors on this map, Zombies will need to hit a human twice before they die. However, zombies can assasinate humans (gotta do the animation) and vise versa as well. When a human gets hit but survives, he will have to live with his injury as there are no health stations on the map. The map layout consists of 3 floors, the 2 main floors being the same size (rather large) and the top floor being rather small compared to the other floors. Littered about the maze are several Shotguns, Magnums, DMRs, and Frag grenades. There is 1 Sniper rifle (8 shots) on the human starting walkway, 1 Rocket Launcher (2 shots; no respawn) on the 3rd floor, and a grenade launcher with 3 shots (might increase in later patch). In addition to the maze are the zombie breeding grounds... yes they breed. There are 6 in total and all of them are marked by the orange shield barriers. You'll note that one of them is right above the Human Starting walkway, but the spawns don't become active for about a minute. Warning: I've noticed that while playing split screen that some of the lights won't load making the map much darker and difficult to see in some areas. Zombie breeding ground above the Human Starting Walkway, best to not camp here! Another Zombie Breeding area The 3rd floor main hall housing the rocket launcher with the zombie zone right above it in the rocks. Grenade Launcher with a pit next to it to drop to the lower floor Better watch your back, zombies can assassinate you! This guy was watching his back =) Zombie Breeding ground. You'll notice the teleporter in the back, that will randomly take you to another zombie area.
For those who are trying out this map I would like to ask. Would you like the colors to be more vibrant at the sacrifice of the map being darker. Right now it's only a purple shade, but I could add Juicy and Next Gen to give the colors alot more vibrant feel at the cost of the map being darker. What do you guys think?
