This is a remake of Chillout and Cold Storage that my friend and i made. You will NOT find a better forge of this map. It is EXTREMELY accurate. We also spent a lot of time making things look great too. The distances and overall size are correct but there are only very slight variations here and there but nothing that will affect play. Please check it out and let us know what you think. We were glad to bring this classic great back to everyone in its purity.
Looks like Chillout. The Forgeworld theme seems to look far more like the Halo: CE map. Great job on the remake. Should be fun to play in Reach. Hopefully. At the very least, more fun than Halo 3. ;D
Wow this remake looks awesome! This is the best remake of Cold Storage I have seen so far...even though I have only seen two... BUT this one is better. It looks amazing, the aesthetics are beautiful and really suit the theme well. I assume that when you say EXTREMELY accurate you mean all the spawns and weapons are placed correctly as well? Either way, definite download from me!
It will definitely be a great map if you fix a few things. First of all, you need to change the weapon spawn times because not all weapons should be set to 30 seconds. You may also need to change the run time max of some of the weapons. Most power weapons in Halo 3 were set to either 2 or 3 and other weapons are usually 6 or 8. Also you need to check which way round the teleporters are. Senders do have a front and a back (the front is lower than the back, you'll need to look for yourself to see what I mean). At the moment the teleporters are either sideways or backwards, which means players are pushed in the wrong direction when the come out the other end. Try it, you'll see what I mean (again). Other than that, its nice to see a remake I actually like
Downloaded. Looks fantastic from the pics. It's unfortunate Bungie didn't give us a "mist" effect tool. You might consider using some of the FX objects to darken it to match up to Chillout.

I have been a hardcore halo fan for years!! and this in unbelievable. Every one that loved these maps on halo 1 and 3 should try it out. Pretty good Cold Storage remake, I prefer Chilly myself, but beggars can't be choosers. One piece of advice, even though it is "accurate" with the weapon sets, the Camo power-up mechanics really don't work well, in custom games you are invisible only when standing still, so gameplay becomes campy with it.
This remake of chill out is siiiiiiiiick! like really accurate and damn good looking too... def. download this and post it on your fileshare if you dug chill out/cold storage... I can't believe how perfect it is. TatTool any other remakes in progress???? let me know! a must download.
Hey thanks man. I'm glad you like it. I actually did just finish up some other remake maps that I will be releasing very soon. I have a Prisoner remake, Foundation remake, and a Lockout remake. They r ALL equally as accurate. Foundation and Prisoner are nuts! They came out perfect. Lockout is perfect to distance and size and jumps but lags a little here and there... It's more of a Blackout remake. Check em out and download them when I put them up! Added after 1 Day 8 Hours: Thanks for the comments guys. I have been taking somethings into consideration and I am adjusting a few things like weapon load times and I annals testing and making the other fame types work. Like king of the hill and things like that. Also adding the load out cameras and team stuff. Should be done soon. Also about to put up my foundation, prisoner, and lockout remakes. All as accurate as this one. Hope u like em.
