Remake Hostel 343

    This is a creative evolution of Last Resort and Zanzibar. I designed combat spaces and navigation that players will find familiar to both previous incarnations of this map, while using new weapons, vehicles, objects, and the availability of armor abilities to mix Reach's addictive game play with Halo 2 and 3's patented brand of death.

    Major Changes:
    -Wraith/Scorpion spawn location replaced with Revenant.
    -Removed Ledge to second floor near entrance.
    -Added Mancannon in front of defender's main entrance for easy movement to ledge where the ramp used to be.
    -Redesigned base interior (see pictures)
    -Used prefabricated buildings for both Camp Froman and Invisibility Tower.
    -Made considerations for Jetpacks, including removing the Fan Frame & Blade and replacing it with the "Pinnacle," also made the top of the Sea Wall easier to reach.
    -Based map off of it's final mode once all bridges/barriers had been extended/disabled.

    Weapon Notes:
    -Concussion Rifle added to Invisibility Tower and at the base of "The Pinnacle."
    -Added Plasma Repeaters under the arch and at the bases' back entrance.
    -Added Needle Rifles to the beach near the Archway and to Base Interior.
    -Added extra pair of Plasma Rifles and Assault Rifles to compensate for new weapons and lack of dual wielding.
    -Grenade Launcher added to back wall near base and in the passage to Camp Froman from the wall.

    Lookin' good. Is the gameplay supposed to be contained in the walls? or can you go onto the beach?
    Well, you've done something I haven't managed yet. Building a map that has platforms, buildings and walkways that all look really good. I seem to just make things that look cool, but don't have much point to them. Well, except one map that'll maybe post later.

    i'm not surre but have you ever seen zanzibar or last resort. This seems more of a zanziba rthemed map (last resort is not an exact remake of zazibar, it's bigger and a lot of the features were canged), it's not an exact replica of zanzabar either, but it does bear a lot of zanzibar's features, such as the top of the building(you totally went adlib inside of the building). Overall it's avery nice map, you did a great job!

    Thanks for the compliments guys. Yes it is a Zanzibar/Last Resort inspired map tho there were a few things that wouldn't really work for it in the forge, like the fan blades. All of the maps I've seen that try to do that one for instance really end up looking rather ick since they were "moving cover" which we currently have no way of doing.
