This is a larger map that I could see being best played with 16 people. 8 vs 8. However 4 vs 4 seems like it would work on this map as well. It is a larger map than your usual Team Slayer map but will play smoothly with my gametype "Downfall". There are 4 Territories, each one marked by the Blue Flag Hologram to make them easier to locate. Health Packs-4 Weapons on map: Assault Rifle-2 DMR-5 Grenade Launcher-1 Magnum-2 Shotgun-1 Sniper Rifle-2 Frag Grenade-6 Needle Rifle-2 Plasma Launcher-1 Plasma Repeater-1 Plasma Grenade-4 Blue Team spawns in a boxed in area where a territory is available for quick capture in the center. The Only Exit from Blue Spawn leads out toward the main ramp where a Sniper Rifle lays on the rock, off to the right and a Plasma Repeater lays in front of the glowing pillar. From there you can enter the second territory in the Purple Rocks which lead up to Shotgun Hall. Here is shotgun hall which leads to the bridge overseeing Blue Spawn and partially into Purple Rocks. Here we have the tunnel that goes out to the bridge. (Refer to the 2nd picture for a view from the bridge) Following the bridge/tunnel through to the other side will take you to the Water Walk and Water Walk Territory. Continuing down the Water Walk leads to the Red Team Sniper and the ramp to Ramp Middle This is just past the ramp to Ramp Middle where Red Team Sniper Spawns Ramp Middle and the Plasma Launcher This is the final ramp leading into Red Spawn. Finally Red Spawn where their territory lies in wait for quick capture. And yes, Red Spawn is in a Green room. Its for map effect and detail. Green looks much better in that room compared to red, trust me.
Wow spam much rook, don't judge so harshly forgehub is all about constructive criticism. Not flamboyant posts from rooks that really shouldn't be posting something like that. Anyway the map looks a little blah mate, im just judging by the pics but im assuming "Downfall" is a type of Conquest as the map seems very linear. I will dl (not jk i will) and then edit this post later probably tomorrow.
Thank you, I am looking for ideas and views really. This is my first map I've ever posted on ForgeHub and I was pleased with the outcome of the map. I want to know things I can change and make better about this map and maps in the future. So, whether it's said in a negative or positive manner, I will be taking everything from these comments with me into my next map. TRUST ME- these pictures do not do the map justice. I don;t think I took very good screenshots, but I'm new at this haha

CaptnSTFU, the pictures do NOT do it justice, walking around on it is the only way to get a real feel for this map And Asst 4 Life...crawl into a hole and die Ka-lates this is a great map, I can't wait to play test it with you!
Ya after running around i was amazed on just how large it is. Its gigantic haha my only problem is that red and blue spawns need more than just one entrance to the bases, technically blue has the walkway they can jet pack to but adding a ramp to it would help immensely, same goes for red maybe making another tunnel or walkway. The only reason i say this is because you dont want a bottle neck situation in ctf etc, meaning a team grabs the flag, enemy team spawns away due to the way it works and then they get trapped in red base. Teams need more than one alternative route in and out of bases or else A. the set team just camps there base or B. bottle neck happens. Still i really like all the different levels you hit and just how open and large it all is. Good map epically for a first, i remember my first sucked (halo 3 if you didnt know interlock etc you map was bad lol)
Thank you! haha I will go edit that and add exactly what you mentioned, a ramp leading to the upper walk way above blue is an option I will consider but I will definite add the separate entrance into Red base. I have a couple ideas, thank you CaptnSTFU
No prob bor if you need any testers let me know, idk if you know Rifte, exploding cars and some of the other more experienced forgers but there my buddies and if you want i can try to run tests on maps for ya. I really dig this map especially for a first you got a bright future in forge ahead.
Alright, I have added a few key things to this map. One semi-major change and a few minor changes. I need to fine tune a couple changes and add a few more spawns but otherwise I will have V2 posted in here shortly. Definitely within the next 2 hour period.
this map isnt THAT bad, you guys act like he just put one weapon down and he was done. It looks like he took some time to do this map and it looks like he had a little fun. Now I am not saying that this map is the best i have ever seen, I am saying that it's a good start.
Since when did I become an adjective to describe spammers? On topic: The map looks a wee bit too open in some spots, kinda in the tree pic. I'll give a dl and check it out though so my opinion isn't set in stone.
