Burial Grounds What was once a resting place for fallen spartens is now a permanent battleground for its undead residents. Burial Grounds is an asymmetric map based on a graveyard. The map can support 2-12 players for Slayer, Oddball, Infection, Territories and Headhunter. Downloaded and played. I have to start by saying that this is the most beautiful looking map I have yet seen on reach. Everyone who was in my group went 'WOOOAH!" several times at how nice it looked. However... in our opinions, the game play was seriously hindered by far too many power weapons on what is essentially a 2v2 map. I would have only one genuine power weapon (sword, rockets or sniper) and maybe just one shotty. Replace the others with minor weapons. But, as i said, amazing looking map. Keep it up.
This looks crazy good for infection. I actually had a Halo 3 map called "Burial Mounds" But that was actually in fact an MLG map. I haven't seen too many church themed infection maps, but I think the original ideas that you put into your map make it one of the best! Great map design and a dl!
Thanks and ill go in and see what i can do about the power weapon issue, ill see if i can try and make it only rockets or something. Ill release a V2 here shortly.
DLed and played this map many times with many people.Fun map, but would change a few things. 1: Make a soft kill zone instead of hard kill on top of the Mausoleums and Chapel 2:Close off Bell tower for infection. Possibly install a teleporter to balcony to keep the astetic of the pulpit lift. 3: Make teleporter or other travel device to top of the hill to keep "last man standing" from camping with a shotty/ pistol. 4: Submit this map in bungie's Forgetacular contest
