The Line V1.1 This is a remake of one of my favorite Halo 3 maps Pallet Parade by Cosmic Rick. I tried to stay as accurate as possible but also made some changes. This is my first map so feedback would be nice Some changes removed the FX changed so lights and man cannons
First things first... there aren't pallets in forge now. Anyway I honestly loved Pallet Parade and not only was FFA really fun on it but when you got the OS the pallets would move which made the map super intresting. My point being it would be super hard to remake that experiance. I'm not saying its bad map because im actually DLing. From the pictures I see the minor changes you've map and really like the garden area or whatever you call it. I think you should add some lights to make the map, well i geuss lighter hah. And I mean not that yellow one. Overall I like the map so good job. Are all the weapons similar?
i was gonna put pallets but i realized that i couldn't and i agree the pallets were one of the things i loved of the map. the weapon layout i got from the original post so they're relatively close
Dude, shouldn't you have asked Mr. Cosmic Rick before making it? This was one of his best maps, im sure he wouldn't be so happy... Anyway, the map is pretty accurate, I was a fan myself when I saw Pallet Parade. The FX is quite irritating. I wouldn't of have put it in the map. Its an okay remake. I would prefer the original more, no pallets, ect. The stuff you have added is just not my style, I noticed rooms that weren't in the original. 2.5/10
Well, I don't think he'd be too mad, seeing that a 'fan' of his is remaking a map created by himself. As for the map, I have never played on Pallet Parade, let alone heard about it. I only remember Utah Mambo by Cosmic Rick (a remake would be awesome), which was nothing short of amazing. But still, good job.
Hey, now, a lot of people 'round these parts consider this to be a line one ought not cross. Luckily, I happen to not be one of them. Flattered to see a remake of Pallet Parade. Honestly, this map has the potential to play much better in Reach than it did in 3... maybe at least. I do get dibs on remaking Utah Mambo and Kentucky Tango, though.
