    This is my first ever forge map, including Halo 3 and ODST. I don't fully understand how certain things work like variant compatibility (Though I have made progress here) and mainly spawns (I dont have any spawn zones cuz idk what the heck they do lol)

    If I need to do something else for this post, let me know. I am DEFINITELY open to ideas and i could DRASTICALLY use TESTERS!!

    I introduced myself in forge discussion so I won't waste time here. I tend to be a old school preferring player who looks back on games like Red Faction, Unreal Series and early Halo game to get my inspiration. As such, this particular map is Symmetrical in nearly every aspect with the Blue Team's side being themed around covenant and a spartan theme for the Red Team.

    The map was designed with team play in mind so although there are spawns for FFA, they are sloppy and the map doesn't lend itself toward FFA games.

    A few features of the map:
    - There is a bridge circling the map
    - Both sides have a tunnel with only one entrance and a teleporter to the top floor of the respective tower at the closed end of the tunnel. The tunnels are accessed via a rock ledge just below the cliff of the maps edge.
    - Both teams have a tower from which their flag returns and spawn points are.
    - You can use the walkway cover to get on top of the tower and drop down to a little ledge and enter a room atop each tower that allows for crouching room only and has a sniper on the wall
    - There are two "bases" in the center of the map that have weapons and man cannons to the second floor of the base
    - The second floor of the bases is open but mildly protected with battlements.
    - Each base has a bridge to get to the main bridge and there are two bridges connecting the bases together on the 2nd floor.
    - Each base has a tower and each tower has a mounted gun.
    - There is the "Excalibur Sword" in the middle ground floor.
    - On each of the 2 corners on the bridge are snipers nest as well as a teleporter above and below the nest.
    - The ground floor surrounding the bases has man cannons, one for each side, on the side furthest from the tower aimed at the towers' ramp.
    - The main bridge has a total of 7 access points.

    Weapons are:
    x3 Needle Rifles
    x3 DMRs
    x2 Snipers
    x1 Energy Sword
    x1 Spartan Laser
    x1 Rocket Launcher
    x1 Concussion Rifle
    x1 Energy Rifle or Repeater (whatever the better one is)
    x1 Spiker
    x1 Needler
    x1 Shotgun
    x1 Plasma Launcher
    x1 Grenade Launcher

    x2 Mongoose found in CTF variants only
    x8 Health Packs
    Various Grenades in equal numbers per side.

    Just from looking at the sniper rifle, you shouldn't fix weapons otherwise it completely messes up when dropped.

    what do you mean there are some issues when dropped? Like if you pick up a fixed weapon and then switch it for another one then it drops but stays in its floating position?

    This is what happened to me with a fixed energy sword in the excalibur picture but then when it respawns, the originally dropped sword only shows on the owners screen and everyone else shows the respawned sword but they cant pick it up, is this what youre talking about?

    This map looks pretty good. The only downside I can see is that your sniper rooms look quite bare and the ground levels seems to lack cover.
    Other than that it seems like decent map and id be more than willing to help out with spawns if I'm ever online. Just send an FR to crypocalypse.
