So I finally figured out how to make a switch that will open a door consistently and resets and is repeatable. (See my post Bungie.net : Halo: Reach Forum : FORGE DOOR that opens with a switch and resets - WORKS!! that explains it) The problem I have now is I was planning on making a prison style map where the initial spawn puts players in the map and when they die, they respawn in the prison and the door can only be opened from the outside. The problem is the more I think about it, the more I don't think it would be very fun to play because the team that gets the upperhand would dominate and the players that get put into prison would be bored and couldn't do anything. I am looking for ideas on how to incorporate a door since I spent a few hours figuring it out and I'd hate to not be able to use it. I was thinking of making a garage door that had vehicles inside, or maybe make the destination drop off for One bomb or CTF be behind a door where the switch only spawns after you pick up the bomb/flag. I don't know, I'm trying to think of anything that would work. Thanks everyone! -DustinDD
You could always use this on an infection map. Make so the door cannot be opened until a certain point, that way humans have to fend off zombies until the door becomes operational.
