    Nacht Der Untoten (PRO)

    The New Updated Version of Nacht der Untoten includes timed events and weapon spawns. true to the game

    Updates
    -weapons are OFF FIXED. They are now resting on discreet platforms sticking out of the wall
    -"Doors" are included in this installment
    -Sniper Rifle (kar98k)in starting area has more ammo now
    -DMR (M1A1 Carbine) in starting area spawns after 30 seconds
    -Door to Help Room opens after 45 seconds
    -AR (Thompson) and Shotgun (Double-Barrel) spawn after 75 seconds
    -barrier to upstairs (from help room) lifts after 120 seconds
    -the plasma repeater (BAR) spawns after 130 seconds
    -upstairs shotgun (trenchgun) and sniper rifle (scoped kar98k) spawn after 150 seconds
    -rocket launcher (replacing sawn-off shotgun) spawns after 165 seconds
    -barrier to starting area (from upstairs) lifts after 180 seconds
    -the random box features new weapons not seen from the previous installment

    Gametype Info
    The gametype is the same from the last update but plays differently now that you have to wait for your favorite weapons and areas the spawn. heres a recap of the gametype if you've forgotten:
    -survivors (4 at max) take 1-2 hits and is then 1 hit away from death
    -zombies approach walking survivors at stunning speed but a sprinting survivor can always outrun a zombie.
    -humans have limited sprint. zombies never get tired. dont underestimate zombie speed. dont forget about the story of "The Tortoise and the Hare" the zombies will catch up.
    -window barriers have been removed. in the previous installment, if you werent the host, you could bust through the window barriers without knowing the trick, so it wasnt very fun
    -grenades off the wall do not instantly spawn after being used to prevent grenade spam camping

    Screenshots
    all the screenshots are the same because the map looks the same except barriers were added. This is only an update. i'd post new screenshots but i dont have Live

    The window that the humans spawn by. the thinnest thing in forgeworld were railings, so i used them for the bars which worked out pretty good, as well as the lantern on the wall in **** Zombies. and the sandbags make the map

    The corner where the Carbine is in CoD. You cannot stand on the pile of rocks closest to the camera in this picture, for the reason that you cannot in CoD. soft deathbarriers = winz

    the famous "Help Room" as me and my friends call it. Now complete with broken wall zombie entrance! You can also look out the window where the Thompson and Double-Barrel are (AR and shotgun) and find a stunning resemblance to the original game

    The help box. i was looking more at aesthetics than making a function helpbox, so i just made random weapons appear on the box at random times during the game. you can definately find some good goodies. and yes that there is the famous radio! except that in halo, you cant make it play tunes :(

    the staircase to the second floor through the Help Room. Another stunning resemblance. This usually isnt a place to camp and dont think you can go on top of the staircase covers because there are soft death boundaries there :)

    the "shotgun corner." my favorite resemblance from Halo3 but the lights arent as bright in Reach, so it doesnt look as accurately lit, but everything else is. That trench gun (shotgun) is the best shotgun on ammo in the entire map so save it or use it wisely. The scoped Kar8k (sniper rifle) is decent on ammo but you can find yourself running out fast with it.

    This is where I always find myself on a solo game of **** Zombies: World at War. And here, you might be similar due to the extremely similar gametype and atmosphere. The grenades on the wall are helpful but dont rely on them too much. Although there are no crawlers, there are still eat-your-face-ers.

    when you die in **** Zombies: World at War, you will probably see this exact screenshot view here. and this is also the loadout cam, as well as other views from the game. So just another thing thats eerily similar.

    the famous campsite lead him to death because he was alone! Stick together, even when you friends are in the worst spot and cant get them to move. power in teamwork is as important as it is in WaW.

    3 vs 1. the survivor only had his starting weapon (plasma pistol). he soon after died after this screenshot. please pick up a weapon, the Colt just sucks. especially when 3 hungry corpses are after you

    although teamwork is important, its always fun to take out those zombie stragglers. zombies must stick together for this reason as well, or swarm from all different directions.

    yes that was me as the last man alive. the Carbine can only get you so far before you get completely swarmed! that was a fricken scary moment! But this game is sooo fun indeed

    So I am totally ready to play this with a bunch of people. One thing i noticed though is that some of the weapons are not put to normal physics. They look super cool floating on the walls but when you drop them or when you die they float in the air and become platforms to stand on. You might want to change that. Other than that it looks great, I like the shield doors as the windows. Can't wait to get some guys together to play it.

    i know it sucksss! i hope bungie patches that but for now, it just seems necessary to have those guns on the walls

    i know i wanna play it again so badlyyy lol my gamertag is th same thing as my use name here so friend request me and/or message me if u want to get ur zombie on!

    This is a really nice map. Im impressed with the aesthetics and attention to detail. You also managed to create a gametype that captures the feel of **** Zombies which is awesome.

    Master Debaytor and I originally created "The Last Day" in Halo 3 and will probably take a crack at making another one in Halo: Reach. Your map is great and basically the only thing left to do would be to develop the mechanics of opening up different sections of the map and installing a working random weapon box.

    I wish i could do the help box but theres not enough budget :( I will make another map varient with a lower budget and room openings and such that will be an extension to this thread. and I could help you with the last day if you want

    Ok sure. We havent started working on this and probably wont get to it for a while. Maybe if you decide to remake a map with some budget left I can try and add a random weapon box for you. I havent tried making one in reach but it whould be easier than before. I hope...

    well the random box isnt much of my concern but maybe it will function in another update. as for now, i have been starting on my new Der Riese map with complicated teleporters

    great remake but yeah i hope the patch that "fixed" option with the floating weapons ...but yeah if u and rival mass remake last day that would be epic i loved playing that in halo 3 and i was desperately looking for a untoten remake snd found this...this is mad epic thank u

    I downloaded the gametype and map from the links you gave but the map is not compatible with the gametype and I went into forge and there where no spawns or anything :S? *needs explanation*

    same here :/ i was all pumped, i had a huge group playing customs, i loaded it up and that came up. i was like awwww.....

    I had a different issue. I got four people playing, but whenever the zombie got near the haven, he was instakilled, as if by hard kill zone.

    "Fell to your death" while walking on solid ground. Wassupwidat?

    No spawns?, the map is nice but when i Dl'ed it i had to replace spawns because there weren't any
    edit: Ah i see im not the only one having this problem, if you need help setting up the spawns, my gamertag is NinjaElfM0HAWK1, because right now it is just eye candy

    Nice job Pimp! Remember testing this and it played real smooth. Just fix those pesky deployable covers and you got yourself a hell of a map!

    You guys can look forward to our next NZ map dubbed Waffenbrick.

    yo man, i have an idea of how to fix the floating weapons (if one hasnt been posted already)

    i dont know if u have much more money, but u can put a 1x1 flat block in the wall barely coming out and have the gun on top of it

    no problem ;) and since iv already done my der riese remake (havent posted it yet) i was thinking of re-posting this one and riese with timed spawning areas, weapons, and door-openings to make it feel like a full-fledged **** zombie game. also, i am taking out the deployable sheilds in this map in the re-release. lag for some players prevents them from breaking them sometimes (TIP: if you play this map and this happens, wait until the sheild cover begins to regenerate then melee it when it is a purple color)

    The Der Riese remake (being called "Waffenbrik") is being released within the next few days. hopefully I will also bring Kino der Toten or "Five" (black ops zombie maps) to you guys when i get Live back. I've also been working on some very detailed custom **** Zombie maps for you guys as well as made an updated Nacht der Untoten with timed events.
