Pursuit is an asymmetric map designed around a ship fleeing forgeworld. For game types other than slayer, blue team will spawn in the coliseum and red team on the ship. Blue team has to fly to the ship to attack it. Front of the ship The back of the ship is defended by two shade turrets The Hanger - the main entry of attack Center of the ship - where most of the action happens. This is where the flag spawns and its where the hardest territory to capture is. Control Room Territories is my favorite game type for this map as it involves slowly talking over the ship. The one feature I forgot to take a screen shot of is the emergency escape slide. It is located under the ship and provides an escape off the ship aside from using flying vehicles. The slide will catch you and deliver you safely to the ground. It works well for CTF. I hope you enjoy this map and that you give constructive feedback on any changes that would improve it.
I think you should add more aesthetic features to the control room like chairs and computers. Makes it look more like a control room.
looks nice but one question, is the map enjoyable with game types such as team slayer?(Balanced,Spawning etc.) Looks fun though!
@T3RA PROWL3R Good point, I will add more to version 2! @ghost Yes, I've tested it with 4 people so far and it seems to be balanced. One team spawns in the control room and the other in the hanger and the action seems to meet in the middle. There are two power weapons (Shotgun and Rocket launcher) which spawn at each end and moderate weapons spawn in the middle. Team SWAT works well too.
I play tested your map and I really enjoyed the aesthetics of your map. Also just as you said the map was balanced in a 2v2 game and I had a good time. nice job
