Greetings Forgehubbers! Thought I'd do the standard thing and make a post in order to introduce myself. I'm PyroDragn as you can see (Gamertag of the same name), Long time Halo-er, short time Forger. Looking forward to taking up the art of forgery (in the strictly game-esque non-illicit sense) now that I actually have the means to do so. I did a bit of forging within the confines of Halo 3, but that consisted purely of what my friends and I could throw together in an evening as I didn't actually have my own copy of the game - due to my lack of owning a 360. Now, however, I've had Reach since release - spent a bit of time with Forge 2.0 and stumbled across this site via google while trying to troubleshoot some problems with a map I was making. I can't remember what the problem was at the moment, I think it was something to do with spawning. Anyway! Decided to join up and see what I could learn - I'm sure there's quite a bit tucked away in all the brains out there in internet-land. I'm also planning on jumping straight in with an entry (or 3) for the Forgotten Treasures Competition. Here's to a profitable future together! (No, still not that kind of forgery) -Pyro-
Nice intro. Welcome to forgehub. If you are planning on releasing a map, make sure to send it through the testers guild. They will test your map and leave you feedback so you can improve it.
Hello there! That was a much faster response than I expected to get, I've just taken your advice and submitted my map up for testing. A handy option to have considering my lack of testing buddies (and particularly with my busy schedule for this week). Just been perusing the site, trying to ensure I don't inadvertently break any rules, and discovering that some people can do some really crazy stuff with the forge.
