An old diving platform was deemed unuseable, but a shield was made for unwary visitors Props to Flywheel1, who made Submersion. His map was built in an area where you could go deeper into the water, and that gave me the area for this map. I suggest that you check it out, it's a very nice map. Sinkhole is my latest map, and although Feet First was posted just 2 days ago, that was made around two weeks ago. Sinkhole takes place on an old forunner structure, and is largely square in design. It has 3 tiers, with an upper level, base floor, and the underwater portion. First off, Please forgive my use of the grid as the floor. The coliseum walls were too cumbersome for use, and the height was also different. In anycase, that's what the aforementioned "shield" was. Anyways, this map has no explosive weapons, because water does strange things to explosives. A soft kill safe zone has been set around the map, although this map has a forgiving height limit for the jetpackers. You are able to crouch underwater. The map design is basic, and there are grav lifts from the bottom up, and mancannons leading to the top level. There are also colored platforms, but the colors aren't for anything other than aesthetic appeal. Underwater is close range galore, but above ground is where the DMRs and Needle Rifles rule. I know this isn't anything like a real sinkhole, but it was the best name I could come up with. All criticisms are welcome! P.S.
