Hi guys! It's been almost three years since I played Halo. I was lured back by the promise of the great things that can now be done in the forge. I've seen many great new maps and downloaded a lot of them. Good job all! Here is my crazy king variant submission. 'Dont fear the Reaper' Crazy king of the hill on a concert stage. Some of the hills will appear over an instrument. The effect is like there is a spotlight on it! On the stage there is a drum kit, a keyboard and three singer/guitar locations. A large floor area for the crowd with ample room to drive vehicles in, if desired. Nosebleed seating, the coat check and the weapons check are opposite the stage. Outside is the main entry and the parking lot. Hills spawn on the stage, the floor, the top of the nosebleeds, under the nosebleeds and just outside the venue door. Can be played with the standard crazy king variant, but I recommend the my variant which tweaks the jumps and damage a bit. Feedback is greatly appreciated! LOVE the aesthetics to this map. Awesome job with the "spot light" concept. I will DL for sure. Keep it up.
this is definitely the most creative use of a hill that ive ever seen... cant wait to play it and it looks awesome
thanks guys! just a note: if you don't use the custom gametype, your players will need to make a 'perfect' jump to get up on the stage. adjust your settings accordingly. I think 110% moving speed was enough to make it an easy jump.
