Ok. So I have a map that is essentially done, however, the spawns aren't working correctly in my Assault variant. I have the two separate spawn zones per team as required. However, regardless of whether the bomb is at home or away I always spawn in the zone tagged for when the bomb is home. I have not yet spawned in the away zone. Yes, I do have plenty of respawn objects in the "away" zone. One other thing I am curious about. It is possible to disable weapon pickups and still allow players to pick up bombs? I am trying to create a loadout only variant and want to keep people from picking up different weapons, but disabling weapon pickups in the game options also disables my ability to pick up bombs. Any advice would be appreciated.
One suggestion, try placing a custom powerup on the bomb spawn point. Set the custom powerup settings (in the gameype options) to weapon pickup enabled for about 3 seconds (?) and speed to 0% (this will prevent the player from running away and picking up a nearby weapon). Also, set the custom power up to about 5 seconds respawn time. The only flaw with doing all this is that if the bomb is dropped it must be reset before you can take it again :/
I had thought about something like that. But as you said, you'd have to get there all at once. The map isn't exactly large, but there's a good chance that it's bigger than Zealot. Added after 2 Hours 11 minutes: Anyone have suggestions as to why the spawn areas aren't working properly?
